BREAKING NEWS: Activist group Together for Peace claims attack on Lucas Holloway’s life.

Three days after the attack on the shuttle of the Holloway Heavy Industries President, the known activist group Together for Peace has issued a statement where they claim to be behind the missile strike.

The statement, sent directly to the Federation News Network offices, claims not only authorship of the attack but also that the shipbuilding giant, previously focused mostly on pleasure cruiseliners and other luxury starships has been largely increasing its weapon research and production in the past year. It is no secret that Holloway Heavy Industries is one of the main defense contractors of the Federation and has previously built and developed many of the weapon systems present in modern day Starfleet vessels.

However, the newer systems developed by HHI contain improved versions of antique late 20th and early 21st century terrestrial weaponry. Systems that have been out of usage for so long that today’s energy shields are not prepared to deal with.

Moreover, the Together for Peace group claims that the sudden shift has occurred most rapidly since Lucas Holloway’s niece, Molly Holloway, has stepped up as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Ms. Holloway, a retired Starfleet Captain, is currently romantically involved with none other than the Commandant of OED’s Colonial Customs and Defense Agency, the governmental institution behind the energy-based environmental shield that has recently replaced OED’s decade old dome.

It didn’t take long for the news to spread and protests breaking at the front gate of the Governor’s Tower, at the main entrance to Sacred Heart Hospital, and at the Holloway Heavy Industries main building.
