Things on OED were routine. Not to say that it wasn’t interesting. The work of a spy always was, and activity had picked up after the dome disappeared. There was an influx of people and an equally suspicious exiting of people. It was the way of things. The two properties Eryn and Vonn had purchased had come along nicely and they were officially ‘settled’ at Presidio. Eryn still preferred The Garden residence and they spent most of their time there, unknown to everyone else. Davivica had found her a nice little studio for her metal working. The provisions they had ordered at the market had arrived with very little fuss or drama. Eryn was rather disappointed about that.

But they had fallen into a routine. One that perpetuated her cover quite well, but it was still routine. So Eryn decided out of pure boredom one morning she was going to visit the governor. Why? Because she could, and he was intriguing. She stopped at the small coffee cart outside the building and the, as before, she made her way, unseen, into his office. She placed the coffee and a small boxed package in his desk and then took a seat on one of the couches to wait.

At least she thought she had been unseen. A voice from… somewhere… said “Ms. Romanov, kindly remove your feet from my table. And I prefer tea to coffee for future reference, but I appreciate that you took the time to stop before breaking in… again. So I will join you. Five minutes, please.”

Five minutes later, exactly, the Governor rounded the wall the fireplace was set in and walked over and picked up the coffee, glanced at the package, left it there and joined Eryn in the seating area by the fire place. Hyrushi was dressed in a soft navy blue suit with a deep burgundy shirt and black tie. His obsidian eyes looked at Eryn as he sat and he said “To what do I owe the pleasure your company, Agent?”
