Akem had finished finalizing all of his work on the Black Sparrow. Prep was done. All he needed to do now was wait for the crew to get a quick exam. Akem was not an officer in Starfleet, so he had time to specialize in a business. Given his unique abilities and his desires to see people well and healed properly, he was able to work in several different areas of medicine and therapy. Yes, he knew the basic medical nurses work and was working on other areas of becoming a full fledged doctor. But he also was a good counselor and from what customers had shared with him, an excellent masseuse. A good massage was an excellent way to relax and release stress. It was his idea that out of everything out there, stress was certainly a killer.

He looked at his new medical display as he went about learning the new systems involved.
