Bri smiled as she headed for the Engineering Department. She heard the head of the department was quite the woman and she was banking on it being true.

She pushed back a wayward strand of fire colored hair, the cause of her nickname Fire Born, along with an altercation that showed that she has for inside, as well. The plaited line down her back has been neat this morning. But now, more than hallway through the day, there were more loose strands than tied ones.

Asking a couple folks as she got close, she found herself knocking on the woman’s door shortly before dinner. Though past normal shift change, she hoped the Director of Engineering was still about.
