WORK! Eryn could barely contain her eagerness to get out of the safe house. Their excursion to buy property had been lucrative, but there was time between now and moving in. Right now her work was more of an information pay off than monetary, but that was okay. It was a good way to get her ‘sea legs’ back and to learn more about her new home.

The first day she left early. Vonn didn’t need to tell her to be cautious, but the indecipherable look coming from that sickly green visor told her he wouldn’t snatch her butt out of the fire if she did something stupid. She gave him an irreverent two finger salute and slipped out the door, weapons and a few fun toys hidden on her person.

She spent the early dark hours before the colony really woke up travelling the streets getting a feel for the layout, short cuts, sounds, smells, and sights. Oed had a rather impressive library and she spent many hours there learning about the history of the colony and more importantly learning about the residents of note in the colony. Slipping the WTR-600 while she read she was able to take images of the information. The Orion one she’d asked for would have worked very similarly to the sensors in Vonn’s gloves and downloaded the files covertly for her, but this worked just as well, for the moment.

Eryn was careful to spend the same amount of time learning about each person listed and not searching those she was interested in first or last.

Over the next several days, Eryn was out around the colony, sometimes alone, sometimes tailed, and sometimes with her ‘bodyguard’ (that never failed to make her laugh). Sometimes it was for coffee, sometimes trying new eating establishments, shopping, or simply wandering and seeing the sights. She even made a stop by the government administrative tower to double check a permit for the home she had purchased.
