Mia watched the two kids playing in their temporary quarters aboard the passenger shuttle Alliance. They were now 10 minutes out from OED V. Mia felt a surge of excitement at the thought of returning to her beloved OED.

Nic and Em were 5 now and were excited for a new adventure. Mia had explained that they wete born on OED, but to them this was an exciting move.

Mia had them gather up their toys and put them back in the crate they had with them. She heard the clearance given for docking. Mia initialized the transport tags, took the twins by the hand and headed for the docking port. The nanny had arrived several days ago and had their quarters mostly squared away.

With excitement and a hint of trepidation the trio stepped onto the docking ring and their newish old life.
