I am so sorry for my absence. I recently had a family issue and have not had any access to the computer that I use to post. Also and being honest I completely forgot about it as things overtook me personally. I have never allowed this to happen and I am extremely embarrassed. However it was kind of a shell shocked situation and I think in those events you just minimize to the things you need to do.

Given my new reality I think I cannot stay on with OED. I simply have to reduce to minimum until I am caught back up in life. Thank you all so much for my many years here. Its been great. I leave with a heavy heart but knowing how well James has managed the colony as the new Governor I do not feel there is anything to worry about and bright days ahead. Thanks.

I am shattered you are leaving. You have given so much to the colony and to all of us as people and fellow players that I know that you will never be more missed than here. But, and I am confident speaking for everyone here, we all know that real life can be brutal. Please do not feel embarrassed; we all lose track in times of great stress. Please know that you will always always always be welcome here. You are as much a part of OED as is the dome and all of it’s history. And you are a great person to engage with. I hope that you will be able to, sometime down the road, return and let us write with you again.
