Karilan smiled as they flipped toast in the pan. “I like cooking, but not for myself. And I hope that this is the first of many breakfasts we can share… especially it means you sitting on the counter like that.” and they turned and grinned, their eyes taking in her body and then they giggled and turned back to cooking.

Karilan

Kaili giggled, tilting her head back as she did so. “I could definitely get used to this,” she laughed, but then slipped off the counter. “Though I do hate the distance this creates between us,” she continued and wrapped her arms once more around Karilan’s waist as she moved as close behind them as was possible. “I just love being close to you, darling,” she whispered against their shoulder blade.

Karilan smiled and closed their eyes. “Darling… I like the sound of that coming from your lips.” They opened their eyes again and, looking at the skillet in front of them, said “I hope you do get used to it. Because I would like to do this every morning.” and they pressed their body against hers.

“How could I not?” Kaili murmured against their neck, her eyes closed and her expression one of blissful happiness.

“Well… this and other things.” and they laughed.

Karilan

Opening her eyes again, Kaili grinned mischievously, “Oh definitely other things as well!” she then started to kiss and gently nibble every part of their neck and shoulders she could easily reach.

Karilan moaned softly and then pushed her away… but not so hard as to actually move her from them. “If you do not stop, I am going to intentionally burn breakfast while I have my way with you on this counter. So if you want to eat… let me cook.” and they grinned at her broady.

Karilan

Kaili wrinkled her nose and pretended to pout as she retorted, “Who needs food? That’s totally overrated!” But of course her stomach chose exactly that moment to rumble rather audibly. Bursting into giggles she admitted, “Okay, fine, maybe we do need food after all.” So with a soft sigh she turned her head slightly and then rested her cheek against Karilan’s upper back and whispered, “I love you Karilan.”

“And I love you Kaili.” They whispered and then pulled the skillet away form the heat. “Now I have a pressing question for you…” and they began to plate the food.

Kaili smiled happily and then, with one eyebrow raised, asked, “Oh?”

“Are we eating naked, or do we dress? Consider carefully, my love. What you choose now will set the precedent for future morning meals.” and they giggled.

Karilan

“Naked,” Kaili replied without hesitation. “I definitely don’t mind setting that kind of precedence. Though the thought of taking your clothes off again after breakfast is fun as well,” she giggled. “But either way … first I wanna do this,” she added and then pushed Karilan carefully around so that they were face to face again. Cupping their face with her hands, she rose to her tiptoes and kissed them deeply and lovingly.
