Karilan was sitting on the edge of the bed, a floral silk robe over their pale skin. They looked up as Kaili entered, and their eyes went wide and their lips parted. “Oh… oh my… you… you look absolutely beautiful.” and they stood and pulled the robe more closed around themself. They moved towards Kaili and they looked her up and down, eyes alight with wonder and desire. “Kaili… I… I just…” and they dropped the edges of the robe and stepped up to her and kissed her with a drive and intensity they hadn’t shown before. They held the kiss for several minutes, drinking in every ounce of the vision before them that they could.

“As do you,” Kaili managed to reply, her eyes roaming over every inch of Karilan’s body before their lips touched again. As she kissed them back in kind, her breath quickened and it was now her hands that explored Karilan’s body again. Though for the moment still through the robe even though she longed to touch their skin.

Finally breaking the kiss, Karilan said “I never knew anyone so beautiful as you are right now.” and they touched their forehead to hers.

“Thank you,” Kaili smiled, her cheeks even more flushed than before. Whether from the compliment, the kiss or both was to be anyone’s guess. “I feel the same way about you,” she whispered and then kissed Karilan deeply again. While still tender in its way, it was a kiss full of passion and desire. And this time her right hand did slip under their robe and came to rest on Karilan’s hip while her other hand rested on the nape of their neck.

When she broke the kiss, Kaili looked Karilan deeply in the eyes for a moment or two before raising an eyebrow and nodding her head towards the bed in a non-verbal question.

A sharp intake of breath was heard as Kaili’s hand found their bare skin, and Karilan’s eyes flashed with excitement as they looked at Kaili and nodded in answer to her unspoken question. They took her hand and led her to the side of the bed and then Karilan kissed her again, putting their hands on hers and moving them around their waist to the backside of their bare flesh. Karilan pulled back from the kiss slightly and said breathlessly “You can touch me wherever you like.” and then they smiled. “But no feet. I promise.” and then they kissed her while they smiled.

“Thank you and so can you,” Kaili replied with a smile before they kissed again. Her hands wandered slowly, tenderly up and down Karilan’s body, caressing them as they kissed. After several moments she pulled slightly away again and whispered, “I don’t remember the last time I’ve felt like this. If I even every have before.” Letting go of Karilan for a moment, Kaili climbed onto their, her eyes never leaving theirs. Once they were both sitting on the bed, she continued in a soft voice, “I’d like to feel yours hands on my skin as well.”

Karilan smiled and reached forward, sliding a hand under the bottom of the dress and slowly up, their eyes wide and fixed on hers. “I… can I… I mean… help you take this off? Only if you want to, though.” and they shook their head and smiled. “That vibrating I mentioned before? Its increased… a lot. I think… I think I really like it.”

Tilting her head slightly back as Karilan slipped their hand underneath her dress, Kaili sighed softly and her eyes fluttered close for a moment. At their question, she opened her eyes again and nodded while carefully shifting her position so that she was sort of kneeling and the dress wasn’t in any way trapped underneath her. “I’d like it a lot if you were to help me out of my dress,” she replied with a warm smile while looking them deeply into the eyes.

Karilan moved close to her and, with trembling hands, reached down and slowly lifted the dress up and off of Kaili. Theireyes went wid and they licked their lips at the sight of her. Without thinking, they slowly stood and dropped their robe to the floor and stood in front of her; vulnerable but surprisingly unafraid as they reached out towards Kaili…

Some time, and much more intimately, later; the two were settled into the walk-in bath. The night had been… more than eventful. Passion… removal of boundaries… professions of love from each… a genuine acceptance of one another. Now residing in the large walk-down tub in the bathroom; Karilan had dropped some Deltan Sea salts into the bath, giving the water a soft blue glow… and also making it completely opaque. Kaili was leaning against the side and Karilan was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly she cried out and tilted her head back a bit farther than she intended. Tears shot into her eyes, but she managed to mostly suppress crying out in pain asd her head hit the rim of the tub. She pulled her hand from the water and and clamped it over her mouth as she quietly took a few breaths in an attempt to breathe through the pain she was feeling while wishing she could kick herself.

“Kaili?” Karilan asked as they wiped the water from their face and eyes. “Are you okay? What’s wrong? Did you get hurt? Oh I’m so sorry!” they said, their face a mixture of worry and embarrassment.

With her hand still clamped over her mouth, Kaili shook her head and tried to blink away the tears. It took her a few more moments till she was able to speak and when she did she sounded very breathless. “I … uhm … flung my head back and accidentally hit it against the edge of your bath tub.,” Kaili replied as she reached with one hand for Karilan’s face and with the other for the back of her own head. There was still some pain in her eyes, but her expression had also turned rather sheepish as she admitted her own stupidity. She just hoped that she wasn’t bleeding and that the pain would ebb quickly or this accident would put a real damper into the rest of their night.

Karilan’s face softened and then they just said “Here, my love… let me see.” and they moved up her body so they could lean past her and see the back of Kaili’s head.

“Well, you aren’t bleeding.” and they gently moved hair out of the way. “But that is going to be a knot for sure.” Moving back down, they said “Do I need to get a doctor? There is one on staff in the building.”

Kaili was about to shake her head, but then hesitated. She didn’t think that she had hurt herself badly and she certainly didn’t feel like admitting to a stranger how she had injured herself. Though unless she wanted to spend the next while with a throbbing headache, some painkillers would be a good idea. Even if that meant that they had to get out of the water. Looking Karilan deeply in the eyes, her expression apologetic, she replied, “Maybe. Unless you have a medical tricorder and some painkillers at hand? I do have a medical degree after all.” Caressing their cheek, she added, “I’m really sorry Karilan. I didn’t mean this to happen.”

Karilan shook their head and said “Shhhh… no apologies. And I actually do have a tricorder. Older model, but I’m sure yiu can make it work.” and they smiled. They climbed out of the water and padded over to a cabinet, pulling out an outmoded tricorder. They pulled the wand from it and activated it. “Here… let’s see if we need that doctor, shall we?”
