Karilan took the water glass and then her hand. They moved backwards smiling and said “Well, you have seen the view. Sunrise is absolutely gorgeous.” They led Kaili into the living room, showing her various pieces of furniture and telling her about them and why they chose to keep them in their home. As the two moved down the hallway, the Right side was all windows but the left held four doors. “First door is the guest bath.” and they opened the door to a lovely and bright room decorated in soft blues and whites. A large shower stood at the back, with a sink and counter to the left and toilet to the right. “Next is the guest room.” and the door slid open to reveal a room with a nice view and a large bed. The room was colored in deep greens and browns, and smelled faintly of leather and sandalwood. “Next is my office. I apologize for teh disorganization. Still moving in.” and they chuckled. This room was colored in soft grays and light purples and lavenders. A large, ornate desk sat towards the back facing away from the window. Behind it was a very comfortable looking chair with a high back. A few PaDD’s lay scattered across the desk and then a large amount of actual papers were stacked on the floor. “My Aunt believed in few things, but keeping hard copy records was one of them.” and they chuckled. “I’m working on sorting and organizing them.”

Each room Karilan showed her, Kaili took her time to let her eyes wander around the room; taking everything in. “You have an exquisit taste, Karilan,” she commented and then added, “And don’t apologise for the disorganisation. I know what it’s like to only just have moved in.”

At the end of the hall was the final door. Karilan noticeably blushed but said “And, um, here is… um… my bedroom. Where I sleep.” and tehy shook their head. “Sorry… nervous.” and the door slid open. The room was a beautiful open space with a large four poster bed sat on a platform. The head was on a diagonal at the corner of the room where two walls of windows met. Rich, deep blue was the predominate color; but vibrant reds, golds, greens and purples were also visible. The room was immaculate, but also very warm and comfortable. A door on the far side stood open to a truly impressive bath with a walk-in shower and massive, step-down soaking tub surrounded by stone. A large dresser stood on one side of the room, and an open closet held an impressive amount of clothes… both male and female. Suits and ties hung next to beautiful dresses, leather dress shoes on racks with high heels, flats, and sandals. An obviously antique vanity sat near the bed with a variety of topicals, skin care products, and make up. Karilan looked at Kaili and said “I have never had anyone in my bedroom before. Not ever. No matter where I lived. If I was seeing someone, I would always go to their place…” they said softly, as if just realizing it for themself.

Even more so than with every other room in the apartment, Kaili took her time to take everything in while slipping her hand in Karilan’s and caressing the back of their hand with her thumb. After a few moments of silence, she turned slightly and looked up at them. “Thank you, Karilan,” she said softly. “For inviting me. For showing me your apartment, your bedroom. For trusting me.”

“It’s easy to trust you. You accept me for me, at least that is how it seems so far. But for whatever reason… I don’t think that will change.” and they smiled at her.

Cupping their face with her hands, Kaili rose to her tiptoes and kissed Karilan. Tenderly at first, but it wasn’t long before she deepened the kiss and let her hands roam over their body. She didn’t want to push things in a certain direction and still kissing and touching them like that felt right. At least to her and she hoped it did to Karilan as well.

Karilan kissed her back, matching the tenderness… and then following suit with the depth and desire. As her hands moved over them, they moaned softly and leaned into the touch; moving their body slightly so her hands lingered in places. Karilan’s hands soon began their own explorations, moving across Kaili’s body gently but without hesitation; touching her slowly and deliberately.

Kaili sighed softly and felt goosebumps rise on her skin as Karilan’s hands explored her body. After several long moments, that felt too short and like an eternity at the same time, she broke their kiss and whispered a little breathlessly, “How do you feel about curling on your couch or bed or something and cuddle?” By now her right hand had reached their cheek again and she caressed Karilan tenderly.

Karilan smiled and said “I would like that a great deal. Do you have a preference? Couch or bed? And if you would like, I’m sure we could get something more comfortable for you to wear, if you wanted. The replicator has a good number of options.”

Karilan

“Wherever you’ll feel most comfortable. I don’t have a preference,” Kaili replied while smiling happily. “Something more comfortable to wear does sound good, though,” she continued as looked down at her usual slacks and blouse combination, pondering what she would like to wear instead and if she should change in the guest bathroom, or in front of Karilan. She didn’t mind either way, though was worried about making them uncomfortable and also that she might be overthinking things a little.

Karilan blushed deeply and said “I also have… um… in the closet here… some robes… if you wanted. I could… put one on as well… if you like. Thats what I usually wear around, anyway. I wouldn’t mind sharing.” they said as their eyes roamed her face and then the rest of her before looking up again.

Standing once more on half point, Kaili wrapped her arms around Karilan and placed a soft kiss on the side of their neck before resting her chin on their shoulder, whispering, “Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Or even nothing at all.” After inhaling deeply, she continued, “I was thinking of a loose-fitting dress for myself. A robe does sound cozy as well, though.”

The kiss on their neck elicited a moan, and their eyes closed as Kaili rested her chin on them. At the mention of wearing nothing, they blushed and stammered “No-nothing? At all? You… you… would you like that? I mean- um- Im not…” and then they stopped and smiled. “The thought is both terrifying and exciting, and I am not sure which side is winning.” Karilan looked down at her and said “I will happily wear whatever you like… even nothing at all. I just want us to be comfortable… and… and together. I really want that, Kaili. No matter how nervous I may sound… because I am… I do want that.”

Taking a step back so that she could look Karilan in the eyes. “I want that as well Karilan. So how about I change into a comfortable dress, then we snuggle up on your bed and go wherever things take us from there,” Kaili suggested tenderly. Reaching for their right hand, she lifted it to her lips and kissed it softly before looking around for the replicator.

“The replicator is in the office. You go and get whatever you want, and I will change out of this and into something… different.” Karilan said with a smile. They took Kaili in their arms and kissed her deeply and passionately, moaning softly as their mouths met. Finally stepping back, they said “Go. Whatever you like, get.” and they smiled and blushed slightly as they added “Even if it is nothing.” and they giggled slightly and turned to the closet, reaching for a light, silk like material robe. They were positively giddy with anticipation. Anticipation of what, they didn’t know. All they did know is that having her there felt more right than anything had the past few years.
