“Thank you for accepting.” Karilan replied and took the food towards the kitchen. “Please make yourself comfortable. Would like something to drink?” They stopped and chuckled. “I’m not wholly sure what the protocol is here, so please… just assume that whatever I’m supposed to ask I have.” and they laughed and smiled at Kaili. They disappeared into the kitchen, but were visible over the bar that separated the kitchen from the dining room. “Feel free to look around, if you like.” they said as they put the food in the cold storage.

“Something like a glass of water would be nice,” Kaili replied as she walked further into the living area. “And I don’t think there is anything you’re supposed to ask. Not really anyway,” she continued while having a look around. Though her gaze kept wandering back towards Karilan all the time. She felt a bit like a school girl with a crush, unable to keep her eyes off the person she liked. So she deliberately walked towards the windows and turned her focus towards the city below while taking deep breaths. It really was an absolutely stunning view that presented itself to her. She was even able to see the hospital and the apartment building she lived in.

Karilan was suddenly beside her, hand on her waist and a glass of water before her. They leaned in and kissed her neck gently and then said “I hope its okay with you, but I really would like to change out of this. My work clothes serve a purpose, but they aren’t exactly comfortable.”

As Karilan’s lips touched her neck, Kaili closed her eyes and a soft, content sigh escaped her lips. At their question, she turned her head and smiled, “Of course it is.” Turning fully around, she touched their chin with her right index finger and gave them a tender, yet brief kiss. “Go change,” she commanded gently as she took the glass of water from their hand.

Karilan stepped away and went down the hall and out of sight. A few minutes later, they returned and the change was… startling. The suit had been traded for a soft and loose fitting shirt and matching pants in a soft blue color. The new clothes allowed for their feminine body features to be seen much more clearly. Hips and bust were no longer concealed by sharp lines and restrictive clothes, and they moved up to Kaili somewhat hesitantly and said “I… I hope that this is still ok?”, obviously somewhat self-conscious.

Closing the little distance between them, Kaili placed her hands lightly on Karilan’s shoulders and looked them deeply in the eyes. “Of course it,” she said gently. “I meant it when I said earlier that sex and gender don’t matter me. I’m attracted to people, not their genitalia.” With their eyes still locked, she slowly ran her hands down their shoulders and arms till she took their hands in hers. Now it was her turn to be a little hesitant as she asked, “Are there parts of your body you don’t like to be touched?”

Karilan visibly relaxed and said “Not a question I was expecting, if I am being honest. But no. You?” they asked as they took her hands in theirs and stepped close to her, their bodies brushing against each other ever so slightly.
