Seamus left before first light to hunt. As the dawn brought light to the stone house, the sheep in the pen ate and bumped against each other as they jockeyed for position at the feed.

A shower of blue and gold lights formed into the figure of a tall, raven-haired woman. Grey streaked through the long hair tastefully tied back and hanging in a single long braid down to the middle of her back. Sharp, intense green eyes were set in a faced lined with decades of leadership and worry, but she was still strikingly beautiful. She was dressed in knee-high black leather boots and dark blue pants, with a green button down shirt; all of which was under a fine and expensive-looking long coat trimmed in fur. Sapphire earrings sparkled against her skin.

Angus came running around the corner of the house and then skidded to a halt as the woman looked at him. “Good morning, Angus.” she said softly but somewhat formally. The ram walked up to her and lowered it’s head and the woman scratched at the base of his right horn and his rear left leg rose off the ground shook in pleasure. She smiled and said “I’m going in to see Seamus now. Be a good boy.” and she walked up to the door and opened it and stepped inside as if she owned the place… which, technically… she did.
