Karina stared out at the window as the stars flew by as lines of light as the shuttle took off to warp. She had enjoyed her time as XO of a star ship, but this, this was where she was comfortable, where she knew exactly what to do and when to do it. Intel work. Jodar had made enemies of at least one Syndicate with a long reach. That in itself would be something that Intel would instruct him to deal with on his own. The problem was that somehow they had gained access to a Star Fleet shuttle while it was in the shuttle bay of a Fleet SHIP! And that was concerning. So, Intel in their wisdom, or not, sent Karina and Jodar off to figure out what was going on. Right before they were to depart, Jodar was contacted by an orphanage on a very remote planet named Delotha. A major syndicate shipping lane went right by there. He was told his daughter was there. Karina and Jodar were supposed to leave and arrive at their destination separately and a few days apart, but Karina had, to Jodar’s disgust, pulled rank on him and decided to go with him. If it was part of the syndicate’s plans then he needed someone he could trust. If it wasn’t it was still a dangerous area for him and most likely scenario it was both and he could use someone to help protect his daughter.

So now they were on a shuttle headed to this planet of Delotha and a village there called Caspian to meet a Ferengi woman named Karra, the house mother of Pied Piper Orphanage.
