Halai arrived in the cleaned up mess hall, small that it was and waited for the others to arrive. Her mind was occupied with not only the situation at hand, but the things she knew she would have to face once they reached Tyrellia. And while most people would be reluctant to be so open amongst a ship full of predominantly strangers, Halai had to trust in her korsiolo which had been loud and clear about this ship and its crew. She had to trust in Michael Conrad even if others would reason he was not worthy of such instant and deep trust.~Halai Cosgrove
Valkris entered the mess hall. Her eyes looked over the PADD in her hand, reading over a letter she gotten from her half-brother and nephew. Jeremy appeared please she had chosen to take time off her busy schedule to relax and have fun. She felt guilty not mentioning the reason was related to the case, even on a minor scale. It was none of his business as she gently powered the device down, wedging it under her arm and continued to the nearest table.
She took a seat across from Halai while she glanced around for the others.

Kira came in as well, nodding to both of them but then taking a single table in the vicinity, nursing a drink and looking absent-minded. For some reason, she always seemed to be accidently not too far away from Halai. But then, this was not the largest ship.

Michael Conrad stepped in. It wasn’t the grandest of ships to most, but the Black Sparrow was his. So despite his ownership and captaincy, he knew well enough a grand entry was not something he ought to expect. He moved to the table and took a seat. His eyes soaking in the presence of Halai. He also took note, mentally of his tactician being here. Good, he thought. Then again, trust had to be earned. And he didn’t know her as well as he liked.
“Any others?” he inquired to Halai.

“Me,” Rob said as he stepped to the side to avoid colliding with Conrad. The bodyguard looked at Halai and gave her a nod. Their exchanged look said something but whatever it was was not obvious.
“And just whomever of your crew intends to set foot on Tyrellia. I’m not really looking for a team to accompany me but since I don’t know what to expect, I’m actually okay with it,” Halai replied.

Conrad nodded, having a rough idea who he might have join him on the surface. Tapping some buttons on his padd, a message was sent through his ship, unbeknownst to anyone else.
Within minutes, Akem appeared in the lounge as well with a datapad in hand. “Mr. Conrad wishes for me to join you on the surface I hear?” His eyes met hers in a sense of remembering, his visage appearing to be quite calm.
“Yep, take a seat, Akem,” replied Conrad. Meanwhile Katrina kept her security programs running, just to be safe.
