Lt. Cmd Longstreet was less than happy to learn that the near fugitive Intel Officer James was back on the colony after disappearing. He was in fact a suspect in a murder investigation. One instigated by Longstreet’s former lover, Apollonia, who had just sent off the planet in order to avoid James and a few others. He had an on again and off again relationship with her that would probably last their lifetimes.

Longstreet put out a BOLO on James and put the word out he should come in on his own volition or life on Oed could get real small real quick. He then sent a message through a street courier to the brother of police chief Karlson. Apollonia did not tell him much but did tell him that Karlson would be a good ally to have if he went after James.
