Standing in the middle of her new home, Kaili looked around her meagre belongings. The downside of travelling lightly was that she never had enough things to make most places feel more like home. But at least she never had much to unpack when she arrived at a new place and to pack again when she left for her next adventure. Taking in the apartment, she pondered where to put what and whether she should unpack right now or take care of a few other things first. In the end she decided to send a short message to her mothers first and then quickly unpacked before heading out to explore her new home a little. She wasn’t expected at the hospital till the next day and while some people might be tempted to have a peak at their new workplace beforehand - and thus before people really knew them - Kaili knew that it most likely wouldn’t work for her. For all she knew she was the only Xahean working in the hospital, maybe even the only one on Oed V and everyone who knew that a Xahean psychologist had just been hired as the Chief of Mental Health would know that she was that Xahean.

So dressed in a pair dark blue jeans, black running shoes and snugly fitting burgundy t-shirt, Kaili made her way outside and bagn to wander the streets. A warm smile played across her face as she took in the people and everything else around her.
