Kord stood at the ops console monitoring the systems. The screens scrolled and shifted without him ever touching the LCars panel.

OOC: Cough! Ahem! We don’t have a LCARS Multitronic system. We have MABEL; MABEL 2.0 actually, without all of the more intrusive “M-5”-type controls, and stripped down to an “M-6” Duotronic primary core, and an “M-2” Duotronic secondary core.

Middle of the night Tia woke to find the bed empty beside her. After checking around, she discovered Kord wasn’t in his quarters they had been sharing for some time. After a quick computer inquiry, Tia slid on her uniform and headed for the bridge.

She arrived and nodded to the other NEs there, heads down in that quiet conversation mode people have in the wee hours of the morning. She smiled and stepped up to Kord, “Couldn’t sleep?” They kept it professional when in uniform. But since the entire ship knew of them by now, she didn’t mind letting the concern come thru in her voice.
