Brian’s office as Glen was called in was your usual square office/desk room. But one difference Brians had was a miniature pool table in one corner where he was currently. As he made a shot to break the triangle of balls several went into holes. “..Nice..” He was heard muttering. Looking up then he put the stick down and smiled in a friendly manner to Glen. “..Ahh Captain Glen, good to meet you.” He said shaking the man’s hand. “..come in take a seat! Care for any refreshments?” He asked gesturing to a food cube cart and drink cart of juice, coffee, and such. Taking his own moment to fill a cup with coffee.

“I’m good, Sir!” replied Glen.

Returning to behind his work desk he took a seat, gesturing for Glen to do the same. “..I wanted to take some time to get to meet you Captain. Since the Merrimack was reassigned to this region of space and sector under my charge. I havent gotten the chance to meet and chew the fat so to speak with you. Our own faults really, I spent the last month and a half myself in and out of a high stakes diplomatic meeting with the cross border sector ambassador to the Sirius III colony. Seems they felt the former station CO here wasnt respecting their sovereign rights, among other things. But thats now all smoothed over, and I got a little more down time to touch base with my ship captains. I read your past mission files. A lot of ‘redacted’ information in there, especially in recent years. Ive gotten enough of a jist though to tell its for good reasons so I won’t pry.” He said sipping his drink.

“Yes, Sir! I’m not at liberty to talk about any of those items. However, I’d doubt you need to worry about them. If you did then I’m certain we would both be briefed as required. ”

”..So tell me otherwise how are things going for you these past few years? You’ve obviously been through a lot, none coming without scars, physically or mentally..” he said.

“Actually, I’m feeling very good now,” replied Glen. “In the last week, I think we have finally put to bed one of the recurring problems that has dogged us. I have recovered my full health again, and have none of the personal issues that preyed upon my mind over the last few years. So, you can have no worries in regard to that either. My crew is ready and keen to get back out there again.”
