: : : Crewman Guy Fleegman was on hand outside the Conference Room doors and he showed Tenzing the way down to Deck 12 where the anomalous readings behind a wall panel outside of Engineering had ultimately lead to the discovery of the Boron Particle. They took a turbo-lift together.

: : : “I don’t like this,” Fleegman told Tenzing, “For all you know, I’m just red-shirted crewman number six who never comes back again, ever!”

: : : Once delivered to Deck 12, Fleegman didn’t hang around for long. “I have a bad feeling about this, good luck! I’m going back!”

: If this goes bad, we’ll all be dead.... Trainor thought to himself as he watched the Crewman run off back into the lift.

: : : Tenzing would see the acting CE and two junior engineers who had discovered the particle, a team from science pointing instruments at it to measure and record, and another team from security. There were far too many people involved really. His first job would be to thin them out so that he could get a look himself.

: “Who’s in charge here?” Lieutenant Trainor called out to the group of people surrounding the area. He definitely wasn’t going to get anything done with everyone trying to get their hands in on the action.

There was a tapping of footsteps, no running. A moment later a tall skinny man stopped just next to the Lieutenant “That would..” he took a moment to catch his breath “Be me now, Lieutenant Grey, Science Officer. I’ve been directing things from the bridge” He nodded towards the engineers and the team of scientists he’d sent. He placed his hands on his hips as he took another deep breath “Sorry, ran out of the lift and didn’t stop. Pregnant lady on the bridge, I thought I’d put some distance.” He smiled slightly at the group.
