Further scans while they waited to have Daniel arrive showed some difference, Glen’s left foot for example was showing signs of hyper nerve signals firing as if someone was lightly tickling his entire foot. His right knee cap and thigh meanwhile were in a state of off and on cramping. While the feeling of hunger pangs was hitting Glen pretty hard even though he had eaten not too long ago scans showed he was almost three days out since last digesting food! It should be ok for Glen to drink and eat soft foods during this something easy to digest and handle so he wouldn’t choke on it.

Glen couldn’t read the expression on Grunch’s face as he performed the scans, and he asked, “So Doc, what have you found?”

“Will I live long enough to see attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion, or to watch C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate?” Glen asked Grunch.

A few moments later escorted by security NE Charlie, the half-human half-Ancient hybrid Daniel entered the Sickbay. “..You called for me Lieutenant?” He said looking to Grunch.

“Captain, To be honest, I have NO Idea right now Your body is making no sense on my Tricorder I need to take scans of our Guest and do some research” he growled before moving to Daniel still standing on his Mobile Step Stool “Yes I want to take some scans to compare to the Captains and try to understand what is happening with him if you will sit down on this Biobed over here I will start my scans!” he grumbled not really looking Daniel in the eye and being his usual grumpy rude self

as soon as Daniel sat down he began his scans “I Dont know yet I will have to do some research but I need to take more scans first” he added

Daniel nodded his head and took the indicated biobed and laid down. Scans showed much more finer detail of Daniels physiology then Grunch had before from just a simple medical tricorder. His organs resembled mostly those of a human, but there were variations in them showing his Ancient half. For example while he had two lungs his ability to hold his breath say was likely far larger in capacity due to the efficiency of red blood cells absorbing oxygen as well as how much breath he could intake to begin with. Most of the other major organs followed along similar designs to this. Looking for any ‘link’ between Daniel and the Captain came up a negative there was none to be detected, nor did Daniel show signs of the temporal problems Glen was showing. So what Glen’s problem’s cause was still a mystery.

Glen put down the PaDD. He really wanted to get back to work but still felt too weak to even get off the bed. “Daniel,” Glen asked, “I see you have my whole staff busy on your errands, creating exotic materials, building experimental devices and re-designing our power sub-systems. And I’m guessing that would all be achieved much faster if you were actually there to supervise and direct it personally?”

”..You would be correct Captain. The longer I am away the longer delay to assembling the device we need..” Daniel said. “..And while I do not know if the temporal-reality problems your ship has suffered is related to your current sickness, there is evidence to support this might be the case in which case your own falling ill could be the first of more being effected..” He theroized.

“Dr. Grunch,” instructed Glen, “I’m clearly going nowhere soon. So, please prioritize Daniel. Complete your scans and checks on Daniel first, and let him get back to work as soon as possible. If I’m not dying, then I can wait.”

While Glen was not dying, there was more temporal shifts in his body make up. For example his right kidney was now showing deaging to about what it had been in his late teens-early 20s! While his sense of hearing was showing advanced deterioration due to the onset of advanced aging. As a result Glen’s capacity to hear was for the moment quite muffled.

“Nurse While I do some research I need you to keep up on treating the Captains Problems” he said turning to one of his nursing staff then turning to his office to start trying to figure out how to fix the captains condition

Grunch Left the Nurse in charge while he went to his office to start Researching pulling up any information he could about Temporal Anomalies affecting a persons body and looking to see if there were any cases similar to this before he also looked into all the past cases to see how the patients body was affected by a temporal anomaly and how it was fixed
