Tia finally wandered into engineering a while after the main repairs had been made. She looked disheveled and worn out, like everyone else on the crew. It was an hour before the next shift change but she reached out to off-duty and next shift personnel, those who hadn’t volunteered to help out already, to come relieve those who had seen more this shift than most saw in a month of catastrophes. That settled, she headed into the main engineering space and took stock of what had been done and what still needed mopping up.

She had spent the last several hours repairing spaces and conduits and hallway access points that had been damaged during the roll. she brushed her hair from her face and sighed. She had a feeling her dinner with Kord that night would be a late one. And, she added mentally, most likely a meal she brought to him wherever he would still be working.

As an afterthought, she typed out a quick message to Kord that she was fine, hoped he was as well, and the general state of affairs in engineering.

Checks on the Merrimack’s systems seemed fine now. Life support was back to 100% and the other minor reports of damage were well in hand. Nothing currently seemed amiss. Though the senior staff had been called to the conference room for some kind of meeting that was going on now, so the chief engineer could hurry to that if she felt like it.
