[snip]Glen was having so many questions fired at him that he struggled to reply to them. The Klingons and Romulans were taking this much better than he had expected. Ginger was a different problem and one for which he had no answer. I wondered whether the Creators might have helped them if he had still been in contact with them through the Reality Stone. He was just about to reply to Hal to answer, “Sorry, No…” when the reply became unnecessary…
Just as the COS spoke another hail came in from the Creators =/\= Captain it would seem due to a rogue errant calculation on our part one of your creatures aboard your ship is still effected by the Stone. Please stand by while we correct this error in your reality. We would then request you and your ally leave the system as we will be reality shifting this system into another for continuing our explorations far beyond here. It was good to meet ones such as you and your allies of these Klingons and Romulans it is only one of a handful where we have studied such an alliance. Fair creations to you and your people. =/\= They said closing the channel.
Another energy pulse was registered in the Botanical gardens and on scans Ginger was now hacking up its meals in its normal cat form.
Rogers it seems was nonplussed about being so dismissed with a simple =/\= It would seem Captain we have been summarily dismissed from further investigations and explorations here. My ship and I will take our leave, thank you again for your assistance earlier and in this venture. Till next we meet. =/\= he said closing the channel and angling the Avenger about and went to warp back to Federation space.
Once the Merrimack did likewise they had a moment of a bright silver-white light behind the ship before the entire system vanished from sensors likely out of their plane of reality. What adventures next awaited the Merrimack one could only guess.
Hal brought the now normal sized cat Ginger to the bridge. “Here you go, Sir,” he said as he handed her to the Captain. “She’s naturally a bit stressed out due to the circumstances. And we need a clean up crew to report to the Botany Lab.”
“I’m not sure the Bridge will calm her nerves,” said Captain Glen, as he handed the cat over to a passing yeoman.
“Take her back to my Quarters please,” Glen told her.
Hal took over his position at Tactical.
Kord observed the bridge.
“I think it’s better that power like that be out of our reach. The temptations to abuse it would be too great.” Kord said.
“Yes, I think it is for the best,” replied Captain Glen, “but I can’t help thinking of all the good it could have done too. Then again, the speaking orb strongly implied that it didn’t do the Creators much good, so you are probably right. They say that power corrupts, but that absolute power corrupts absolutely. On the other hand, I was more than a little surprised that the Klingons and Romulans showed no interest in the Reality Stone.”
“Let’s get out of this backwater and head back to the Federation again,” Glen said. “Navigate a course to the nearest Deep Space station, make damage reports on the way and start any necessary repairs… And send a clean-up team down to the Botanical labs…”

William nodded from his chair, spun back around and got to work. Asking for and recieving reports from the numerous departments under him. Making sure to send the right requests for repair and marking things by the importance of their recovery.
CSO
“Captain, I request that we steer clear of any mysterious objects made of purple light,” Hal said.
