Once back in Sickbay the NE’s moved Baxton to the Surgical bay while Grunch went to scrub up he had to be quick to save the young man he still did not believe that a House Cat could be changed by some tiny little pebble but even still he had to focus “Yeoman you scrubbed up and ready to assist?” he growled as he headed for the surgical bay he knew the first thing to do was to stop the bleeding.

“Yes, Doctor,” Faith replied.

“Administer 20 CCs of Anesthizine” he ordered to one of the other two NEs he was calm and cool when it came to what he had to do He, of course, had seen this level of injury before and knew without a shadow of a doubt that he could save this young man

Once Baxton was out he began his work repairing the arteries to stop the bleeding and repairing the rupture in his lung

The surgery was a long touch and go, repairing the arteries was the hardest part feeding into the lungs beyond the lung itself. But with careful skill and effort Grunch was able to stabilize NE Baxton. While he probably wouldn’t be doing any long distance sprints or heavy lifting etc anytime soon, with recovery he probably could still be an NE security guard on a more leisurely station post in the future.

he sighed letting the NE rest he of course throughout the whole thing had Faith hand him tools and be an extra pair of hands at times “Thank you, Yeoman You were a big help in saving this young mans life He will have to probably be transferred somewhere else but at least he lives” he said wiping his hands on a rag he went back to his Office to await more injuries

Once back in his office Grunch knew he had only just treated a symptom of a bigger problem =^=”Grunch to Bridge, Captain NE Baxton will be fine he needs to be Transferred at the best possible opportunity but still what happened is only a Symptom to the main disease around here and that is the fact your cat is now a tiger not that I fully believe that is what has happened…even still if it has really happened Might I suggest that we figure out how to change your cat back into a cat I doubt Starfleet would be too keen on the idea of one of its captains having a Tiger for a pet!” he growled over the comm reporting to the captain
