USS Merrimack

Main Sim - Bridge - The Finite War

[snip]

Suddenly there was an urgent comm call to the bridge from deck 2 below them. =/\= NE Chang to the bridge! Oh god there’s blood everywhere! Ginger the cat has gotten out of holding in the VIP quarters, he’s ....he tried to eat my partner NE Baxton, he needs medical attention, I called sickbay but they’re not here yet and we need security to track that....that cat or tiger or whatever down when it entered a turbolift! I’m not sure where its going! Oh god I cant stop this bleeding on Baxton…=/\= he said with an edge of panic in his voice

“Cut turbolift access to the bridge. Limit it to confirmed authorized bio signs.” Kord called out.

Curiously, Glen felt somehow that he was personally responsible for the actions of his house cat, despite the fact that it was now untamed and had grown hugely in size. He had also expected that it would have reverted to normal, given enough time, but that now appeared to have been a serious error of judgement. Rather than the VIP quarters, it should have been put in the Brig with a force-field. Well, too late for that now! It appeared that only the Reality Stone would change it back again. What were their other options now? Mobile force-field units? A jungle combat shotgun? Transport it out to space?

William immidately went to work on the internal sensors. He was certain that he’d locked the cat up good. He also wondered why his sensors hadn’t alerted him about it. Had they changed the settings again? Had the Security lads been playing with his equipment again. This wasn’t good.

Glen replied to NE Chang =/\= Dr. Grunch is making his was to your location from Sickbay. He should be with you soon. Can you tell us which way Ginger went? Our internal sensors are on the blink. =/\=

-Glen, CO
