Tia’s own silence matched the Captain’s. Though while he wished he was on the surface, she wished she could figure out the puzzle. Without realizing she’d murmured out loud, she started typing her fingers once more. This time her minds in a different direction. “Do the rods have any power of their own? Perhaps is a match of power to power we need to look at. Measure the power of the rods separate from the sockets and see if there’s a pattern there…”

She hadn’t looked up as she spoke. Her mind trying to keep up with her thoughts.

Based on the scans Roger’s team had provided the rods did seem to have some small bit of power, and of course so did the holes they would go into. So this line of thinking was something they could investigate!

Glen wasn’t sure who Tiastri was asking, or if she even meant it as a question, but it surely couldn’t be himself, I’m a pilot not a techie, he thought.

On the screen meanwhile a blue colored scan of some sort was being hued over the away team in the pyramid by the Orb. It passed over them twice before speaking again.

A moment later the darker room the team was in lit up to more normal color hues from slits in the stone work wall. Scans also from the team showed the rest of the facility was being lit up within their range and the cooler nature of the facility grew to more normal temperature ranges.

Barely ten seconds had passed with this being taken in when the Avenger was hailing again relaying a call from Roger’s once more!

=/\= Captain Glen, it seems this facility is linked to wherever your team is at, lights just came on and the temperature just got warmer here. Systems also lit up like a Christmas tree around us. I’m having the Avenger scan for some kind of communication signal, could you do the same on your end? It might provide us clues on how they communicate. =/\= He said.

Kord arched an eyebrow.

“Perhaps we should have the team ask the orb if there are more facilities nearby than just the two.” he suggested.

Glen replied to Rogers, =/\= Yes, it’s definitely connected. My team is currently speaking to an Orb and have been scanned. It said it was change the environmental conditions to suit their physiology. That implies that the creators of the pyramids were not like us. =/\=

Glen turned to answer Kord, “I agree.” He told the Comms officer, “Search for a signal, or transmissions between the two pyramids. All frequencies, EMR and subspace, visual, audio or text.”

Then he contacted Tinga, =/\= Tinga, this is Glen. Ask the Orb how many other similar facilities it is in contact with. Captain Roger’s pyramid just lit up and increased temperature at the exact same time as your’s did. =/\=
