Posted by Crewman Morag McHoan (Ship’s Midwife (retired)) in Main Sim - Sick Bay [snip] : Cross entered sickbay and headed towards the Ensign doctor ‘’How is our patient doing?’’ she asked her eyes firmly fixed on his vital signs. :  : ‘’He’s still unconscious but his status is improving since I inserted the shunt to drain the accumulated blood in his brain ,its to early to say what his prognosis would be ‘’ Marthese replied ‘’So how did the meeting go?’’ the female doctor asked. :  : Cross shrugged ‘’Apparently we have change time again and another ship from the future is here …something to do with an alien race called the serpents to stop them from,from’’ at this point Cross stopped specifying the facts as simple as possible ‘’Lets just hope there won’t be too many casualties ‘’she remarked. :  : Cross and Marthese doctors. : A comm call came in to medical. : =^=Medic to the bridge. We have… We have…=^= she paused, =^=I’m in labor.=^=

Cross was quick to respond =/\= Acknowledged on my way Bre =/\= and with that she ran out of sickbay with a gurney assisted by two nurses, while Marthese got what was needed ....that is if Bre made it to sickbay in time.

There was some sort of commotion in the corridor outside of the Sickbay after Miriam had left.

“Ah ken Ah am needed,” Morag told the young medic. “Ah was delivierin’ bairns when yer maw was still in a cot. An’ tak’ yer hans aff me, aam sixty nine years auld! Ah nae a yoong hen onie mair. Lit me by. Aam th’ only midwife aboard thes ship.”

Cross jaw fell open ‘’You’re still alive!’’ she exclaimed to the old midwife who always wreaked the female doctor’s brain trying to understand her ‘’Anyway follow me or better still try to out run me if you can’’ Cross mocked the old woman.

“Ah bairns come when they ur ready an’ tak’ their time. i’ll be thaur oan time. dornt fash yerse yer heed!” replied Morag.

Cross did not look back but did call out ‘’They’re twins and coming four weeks early,if there ever was a time to rush it is now’’ bit McHoan might be able to keep up for the doctor stopped eyeing the turbolift suspiciously ‘’What if it stopped due that darn particle our ship has come across?’’ she asked half expecting the midwife to answer.
