Not long after the Merrimack stood down from battle stations NE Bigs was over in one of the maintenance hatches when there was the sound of something goopy falling out of it. “..What the?!?” Bigs cried. “..Alright who dropped this goop down the upper hatch! Do you got any idea what that’s going to do to my uniform!” He cried coming out.

As he rubbed his hands on it suddenly the uniform changed from the red color tones and jumper suit to a string of small apples and peaches vine woven around the Ensign’s body! “..What the heck is going on here!!” He cried again.

The female doctor, Miriam Cross, was by now in the engineering dept looking around and it did not take her long to find the crewman. Her first instinct was to put a hand over her mouth to stifle a scream for what she saw was never in any medical book.

Guy Fleegman had been on security duty in Engineering. When he saw the vegetable infestation emanate, he ran straight for the door, passing Miriam on his way, shouting, “It’s alive! It’s alive! They have no faces. They have no eyes. I’m a dead man anyway.”

The doctor was quick to get out of his way ‘’ Some unity and partnership ‘’ she muttered then focused again on Bigs ‘’Can you take your clothes off?’’ Cross asked hoping he could.

Jasper placed containment fields around the oddities. As he was thinking about Guy as he left in terror. “Drama King!” He said softly as he focused on the duties as he started some scans. “What’s going on here?” Jasper commented as he looked at the scans.
