It was almost a month later since the crews R&R at Earth. Currently the ship was out patrolling along the border of the Triangle once more showing the Orions and other pirating never do wells that the Federation was keeping up their part of the Klingon/Romulan/Federation agreement to keep the Orion led forces in check that the Merrimack crew had helped usher in only a few more months prior. It was a lazy patrol so far only getting brief scans of Orion merchants doing their deals in their own space, while theM Merrimack was creeping into unexplored areas of space when at comms the board lit up! It was a Priority One Distress Call, Audio Only!
