Jasper finished off taking the doctor back to her stateroom on the Merrimack before heading for some rest and relaxation. Jasper checked to see if the RR was still on. And he was confirmed that it was on. As he signed out of the ship once again as he was moving to the transporter pad. Please beam me to my home in West Virginia. As he gave the officer his coordinates for his beam down which should beam him down by the mailbox on the mail drive to his parents home. As the officer typed in the coordinates. “Excuse me, sir? Are you aware that it’s raining in that location? ” The transporter chief told Jasper. “I was not aware but thank you for letting me know I will grab an umbrella. ” Jasper said with a smile as he pulled one out of his locker. Jasper stood on the transporter pad and turned and faced the officer. “Beam me down when you are ready.” Jasper stated calmly as he waited for the chief to be ready.

Jasper straightened his uniform as the transporter chief finished what he was doing. “Energizing !” the engineer finally spoke as the system hummed to life as it got louder he has beamed away to his ancient family home. As he materialized he started to feel the rain beginning to start and a clap of thunder and lighting was seen in the nearby distance as the thunder vibrated through the mountains. Jasper quickly popped up his umbrella. As he started his walk towards a series of mailboxes as he checked the mail in his mailbox before heading down the driveway to the house. As the wind picked up he could smell someone cooking somewhere off in the distance. As it made his tummy rumble.

He continued to walk as he made his way down the long drive towards the house. As the rain steadily got worse and the wind began to howl hard. Jasper had not seen it like that in a long time Jasper fears its might be tornado weather. Which should not be possible due to the new weather control satellites were installed a while ago. unless there malfunctioning. Jasper looked for a deep ravine and a place to take cover until the storm let up. As Hail and lightning started to get wilder. Lighting had charged the atmosphere strong enough to make his hair stand on end.

As he found a place to hide under a bridge as he held onto the iron beams as he pressed his head into the iron beam to shield his eyes from the debris. As he wrapped his arms and legs around the beam for dear life. As the loud familiar sound of a tornado was now barring down on him. The wind howled and lighting stuck the bridge above him which caused a jolt of lighting through the beams and to the ground as the water in the creek sizzled loudly as he fought to keep awake and keep his grasp of the beam As he fell unconscious. As he slumped off the beam and fell towards the now quiet water. as he fell in feet first as he was out cold. Luckily it was not to deep at present a few inches but it was known from the past was known to flooding.

As the water slowly rose and the swiftness of water was trying to take the man away with it. Jasper woke up just enough and moved himself to safety as he passed out yet again. As the storm subsided and cleared as he Jasper woke up again soaking wet and muddy. and charred parts of his uniform and hair. As he started to take in his barrings again. “What in the world happened??” as he took note of his appearance. he grabbed his communicator and noted it was totally destroyed from the storm. As he climbed out of the ravine and continued home again. it seemed to be harder and harder to walk as he got to the yard he could hear others talking and conversing at the dinner table. As he made it to the door and tapped the doorbell.

He quickly grabbed the seat next to the door and fell into it as he felt the energy leave him as he fell unconscious. A man came to the door did not see anyone at first the looked towards the chair. “Cousin Jasper?? ” He said softly at first… “Jasper!! Oh! God!! Call for a Doctor quick. The man stated quickly as he quickly picked up Jasper like he was nothing and moved him from the chair to the main guest room on the main floor as he got Jasper in the room quickly got him undressed out of the nasty clothing and into something more comfortable. As others fetched warm water and rags to help clean him of the mud and muck before placing him into the bed. By the time the doctor arrived Jasper was cleaned up the best they could for now and the doctor checked over Jasper. “mmm” the doctor said calmly to himself as he got the scans and checked them. “He was lucky to be alive. What energy he had was from the lighting and what his body stored got him this far if you did not call me when you did he would more than likely died. The doctor gave him some meds to help him and to keep him stable for now.

“I should send him back to Starfleet with these injuries but I can’t guarantee if he would make it in one peace. So I will inform them of the Accident so that they can send there doctors and teams to help him in the crisis. The first 24 hours are critical. Be prepared for at least a team of three to arrive. May I use your Computer terminal.” the doctor asked. ” Of course this way doctor.” The woman replied quickly as she showed him where the terminal was located. “There you go, Doctor.” She said with a kind smile as she left him to make his call.

“Computer Open a channel to Star Fleet Head Quarters Medical division. Urgent Priority.” the computer beeped in compliance before it spoke “Working” as the call went out. Moments later a UFP symbol and Star fleet Symbol popped on screen. Moments later a female officer answered. “Nurse Rachet here How can I help?” the nurse said in a kind voice. “I am Doctor Stone out of Indore WV. I have one of your officers in my care at the moment. And he is in Critical condition. was struck by multiple lightning strikes. I need a team to come to care for him. He needs your state of the art care. Here are the readings I got from my tricorder. I know my machine is limited but its the best I have at the moment. ” As he placed the plastic looking card into the reader and tapped a few keys as the computer started making noises as it sent the data.

“Data received doctor!” Nurse rachet said calmly to him. “Stand by for emergency teams we have locked on your location and scanned for a safe area for beaming.” The nurse informed. “If that will be all. Beaming will commence shortly.” As the screen showed the Ufp symbol again by itself as the channel closed and a moment later the screen went dark.

Moments later familiar hum of a transporter beam was heard as the light started to fill the room. moments later the light subsided. The team was standing in front of him. “Follow me, Ladies and gentlemen. I am Dr. stone our patient is this way.” As he walked out of the Study and moved down the corridor to the Guest room again he is over there. I will leave Jasper in your hands.” as the doctor left. “Thank you, doctor!” Said the new doctor from Starfleet. As he moved over and started scanning the patient again with better equipment.

Jaspers vitals were very week but holding at the moment. As he finished off his scans and started iv solutions of fluids. As he set up monitors and other equipment for the care of Jasper. While the nurse and aides help finish off the medical needs. one aid, the nurse, and the doctor would stay to keep an eye on the officer as the Doctor used his communicator to send a message to Jaspers ship informing the captain what had happened. The doctor dealt with any outside appearing damage and repaired them with easy, The hair will have to wait more like needing a hair cut to fix the damage from the lighting created.

The doctor stayed in the rocking chair in the corner doing some side work as Jasper slept. As the aid and the nurse took time off and slept till it was there turn to keep an eye on the man. The staff took turns in keeping an eye on Jasper while he was placed in a medical coma for the time being so that Jaspers body had time to heal and recoup from the ordeal. As Morning came to the farm you heard the rooster crow the night away. As food got started cooking while other odd chores were done quickly in preparation for the others to eat soon.

The fresh smell of biscuits cooking in the oven while other items were being made from pancakes and waffles and french toast. Fresh maple syrup was placed on the table along with freshly churned butter and freshly made preserves from the storeroom started to fill the massive dining table. even with the extra guests, there was plenty of room to eat and relax. The house was a massive Victorian Mansion that was built by Jaspers great great great great grandfather centries ago roughly 1840’s Amazingly the house looks like it did when it was first built.

All the original details were still there and chrisp. All the gas lighting and fireplaces still in working condition. The was one laptop in the study for communications and correspondence with family and friends. Only odd conveniences were added was a small 3 bedroom cottage with more modern conveniences with computers and replicators and power generators and solar and wind-powered backup systems for the farm. The doctor woke up casually and started scanning Jasper to see what his progress was as Jasper started to come too. “That’s not possible you should be out still??” As he did more scans now. “I am fine doctor…Relax?’ Jasper said calmly to the doctor as he was about to object to him being awake. As he sat up in bed a bit. “But??But??” The doctor said as he regained his voice. “I promise I won’t get out of bed. Doctor. ” As Jasper tried to calm his fears and stopped after getting more comfortable.

As the others started to here Jaspers voice and the doc trying to argue with the man to no eval. As they all started to pile into the room. As they all got into line to hug and kiss him. Being glad that he was ok even though his hair looked like he put his finger into a massive light socket. as some of the younger kids giggled at him but gave them there respects and smiled. Jasper knew it not meant to be in meanness. All he could do was smile and laugh at himself in turn as he saw himself in the antique mirror on the nearby dresser. “I am glad to be home and the food smells amazing.” Jasper said politely as the others returned to the dining room to take a seat for the meal. Jasper was about to et up to eat. then the doctor stepped in the way preventing him to stand. Jasper let out a hard sigh. “Very well Doctor I will stay and eat here.” As he Heard everyone get comfortable. As Dad start to say grace to the meal.

“Dear God! Thank You for this bountiful meal and the safe return home of Jasper from the Academy and his first assignment. And the return of all that are part of the family. And thank you for the Medical teams and staff from Starfleet if it weren’t for there quick decisions and actions in helping keep Jasper here. And thank you God for you to keep and hold Jasper in your arms in the uncertain times. And restoring his health and life to him. With all our blessings forever in Jesus name and the name of our holy father and the holy spirit. Thank you and Amen. “AMEN!!” was heard from all and a delayed one from Jasper so that he was heard from the other room. He had to admit Jasper had not heard his father say such a strong prayer in a great while. “thank you god!” he said calmly and softly as the doctor heard Jaspers comment.

His mother made up a plate for Jasper and placed it on a bed tray and brought the food into him. The food was piled high. A small vase with a small daisy. A tall glass or Oj and A tall glass of milk. Along with an assortment of food was seen as she placed the tray in front of him. Jasper grabbed a napkin and placed it over him to keep the mess to a minimum. Jaspers mom gave him a quick kiss as she left back then looked at the doctor. “there is plenty of room at the table for you doctor?” Jaspers mother said calmly to the doc. As she waited for an answer. “I will get a plate and eat here.” The doctor responded as he stood and stretched with a yawn as he followed Jaspers mother to the dining area as he started to fill his plate. And moments later he returned and ate. As he watched Jasper from time to time quietly. The doctor still could not explain the lack of coma he set up or how Jasper got out of it. Jasper started eating as he normally. Jasper then could hear the clanking of the dishes from the dining room now and some minor chatter as they all ate.

Jasper looked up from time to time from his plate. Checking on the doctor briefly as he continued to eat. The doctor and Jasper took turns checking on one another before long they both looked up at the same time. “hows your food Doctor?” Jasper asked in between bites and taking a sip of OJ. “Excellent!!” The doctor said with a mm slipping from his lips. “Good!” Jasper commented casually. “mom came from a long line of great cooks. Along with most of the family have learned from her.” Jasper said with a small smile as he continued to finish off his plate. “I can tell its much better than a replicator or any other cooking he had in a great while.” The doctor replied. as Mom came back in to check on them. “Well looks like your both eating well. There’s plenty more in the dining room. Your more than welcome to have more.” mom said with a bright smile. And a slight blush from the docs comments earlier. It was nice to hear that her cooking was still the best.

Jasper just finished his plate. As his mother came and got the plate and other dishes from Jasper. “thanks mom it was great.” Jasper said politely to her. The doc finished moments later as she collected his plate as well then took them to the kitchen to clean them up and put them away. “thank you ma’am.” the doc responded quickly as he stood up again and moved o do updated scans. “You have an amazing healing rate Ensign. I might need to study this more in detail sometime.” the doctor commented as he turned off the odd equipment that was not needed any longer. “Anytime Doc! Just let me know when?” Jasper said with a smile.

“Maybe before you return to duty on your ship let me get another once over again before officially returning to your ship.” The doc said with a smile. “Of course Doctor!” Jasper said quickly. “Here is my card so you can reach me when you return to San Francisco to the academy or star fleet command. I am at there local Star fleet medical complex their. I am easy to find. As Jasper looked over the card. it read. “Doctor Ensign Casper Perry Showed his net address and call number.” Moments later the nurse and another medical assistant came in to gather all there gear together. “I was just going to call you.” the doctor said with a smile.

About ten minutes later all the gear was packed tightly together. “all the gear is ready doctor.” came from the nurse. “Very good Nurse! Be ready to transport back to Starfleet Medical.” The doctor ordered. As the got close together. as the Doctor opened his communicator. =/\=”Starfleet medical this Is Doctor Perry ready for return transport from a medical call.” =/\=The doctor finished. As he waited for the reply. =/\= “Star Fleet Medical to Dr. Perry standby for transport.” =/\=the officer said through the communicator. =/\=”Beaming now.” =/\= the officer finally said. as the room lit up with the transporter beams and beamed the team away to nothingness.

Moments later everyone came in to check on Jasper. “All is good they headed home.” Jasper commented quickly. As they all sighed a sigh of relief. as they turned away and head back to clear the table and finish off the kitchen chores and other chores outside as some headed to the barns and fields to feed and water the animals. As Jasper stood up out of bed. As he wabbled a bit at first as his legs took the weight of him standing now. As he moved closer to the dresser and looked at the mess of hair in the mirror. It was not as bad as it looked from a distance.

His mother came in. “It’s not that bad we can have that fixed in a jiffy.” His mother said as she took him to the kitchen where a chair was sitting with a cape to cover Jasper so he could get a trim job. She moved around to the back of the chair and motioned for him to sit. “Come on Japser I promise it will be fine.” His mother reassured him as he took a seat reluctantly. As she tossed the cape over him and tied it off so it would not slip as she started cutting. It was no time she was done. “There now go take a shower get cleaned up and get some fresh clothing on. Mister.” Mom said as an order. then smiled. “Just kidding.” As she shoed him off.

As he went back to the guest room and used the guest bathroom there. Jasper took off the clothes after he closed the door. As he turned on the shower and got it to the right temperature. As he slowly got in as he felt the water hit him it hurt because his skin was still tender but he got used to it in no time. As he stood there an soaked for a good minute before he scrubbed himself down from head to toe. To make sure all the black marks were gone and all clean. He got out and dried off with a large bath sheet towel As he started at his head and ended to his toes again. Jasper sighed he felt clean and he could feel the air hit him it was absolutely refreshing. As he moved over to the sink and did a shave with his laser razor. He put on some fresh aftershave and cologne. He finally felt human and not some kind of earthworm. Jasper finished and got dressed in some civvies. As he came out of the bathroom he saw his mother cleaning up the guest room. “You can go to your room now or stay here its up to you dear.” His mother gave him a kiss and a proper hug. Then she opened the window for some fresh air to flow through the house.

“I think I will go to my room now and leave this room for the guests.” Jasper said with a small smile. As he gathered his dirty clothes and other linen from the guest room to put into the laundry. “Now if I can get your father to do that my battle would be won.” She smiled and let out a small chuckle as she went to clean up the bathroom. Jasper laughed too. “Your right!” as he headed out of the guest room and headed upstairs to his normal bedroom as he entered the room It was just like he left it A display case full of his models he put together from a young age to now. Along with several awards and achievements from school and other academics. Nice baby blue walls with nice Velvet Victorian curtains with sheers adorn the windows. As the wind blew in softly from outside to keep the room cool. He briefly took a seat on the bed it was so comforting to have a nice place to sleep and relax for a few weeks. He thought to himself.” nothing has changed.”He said softly to himself.

He got back up again and headed downstairs again. to go and enjoy the day with the family on the porch as they started playing music from there instruments. As Jasper took a seat and listened to his family playing and singing. as he watched the clouds lazily go across the sky with the smells of fresh cut grass and wildflowers growing in the gardens. The smell of fresh lilacs lofting in the air along with jasmine. As there were fresh young crops growing in the vegetable gardens.

Jasper heard the Computer going off from the study as he walked in He noted the familiar Federation symbol on the screen And the Star Fleet symbol also appeared moments later. Noting that this transmission was coming from somewhere in SFC as the screen changed from the usual to Star fleet medical symbol. Jasper sighed a moment before opening the channel. As the image of the Doctor appeared on screen to him. =/\= “Well hello, again doctor what’s on your mind.” =/\=Jasper asked casually to him. =/\= “I forgot to leave you with another communicator since your other one was destroyed by the lighting.” =/\= Casper said with sincerity and concern. =/\=”thank you, doctor, that’s kind of you.”=/\= Jasper said kindly as the new communicator was beamed into Jaspers location and appeared next to him on his desk. Along with n envelope. =/\=”Well, I got to go for now. Keep well. Don’t forget to stop by after your leave is over.” =/\=the doctor told him. =/\=”Doctor Casper Perry Signing off. “=/\= Moments later the Star fleet Medial symbol and Star Fleet Command Symbol and The federation symbol appeared on screen briefly then vanished to a blank screen again.

Jasper picked up the communicator and placed it into his pocket for now as he now saw the envelope that was there with his name on it. As he picked it up and looked it over a minute before grabbing the letter opener and slid it across the top of the envelope to open it as he put the opener away. then he opened the envelope and pulled the piece of paper out as he unfolded it carefully to begin to read. “Hello, Again Casper. Ever since I left I could not keep you off my mind. I am not sure why at present. But I want to find out why? I do think I am attracted to you. But did not want to say while the others were there and around your family and the medical teams. I hope you understand and why I wanted to keep this secret for now. We don’t need rumors or anything from making a mess of something it may or may not be legit. I hope we can talk later maybe more in private. by coming to dinner here in San Francisco for some Chinese or some pizza.” All that Jasper could do is smile. “I thought so.” Jasper said softly to himself. So no one was trying to listen in or something. As he continued to read on. “Thank your family again for the nice meal and the caring and understanding they expressed while we all were there we felt like family there and so welcome and inviting. Sincerely, Jasper.

Jasper calmly refolded the paper and placed it into the envelope again As he stood up then Headed upstairs to put the letter away for now as he placed the communicator on his dresser for now. While he went back downstairs quickly than outside to continue to listen to the music that the family was continuing playing. As he took a seat again as he grabbed some iced sweet tea nearby and took a good sip of it before placing it on the table. As he got lost in the music they were playing as he fell asleep in the chair.

The others left him alone as they scattered to finish off the day’s chores then came back to get the evening dinner started. Mom came over and checked on him to make sure all was well with him. as she softly touched his forehead he was cool to the touch but there was no fever or anything to worry about as she left him be and let him rest. As she thought of what to make for dinner. Fried chicken and maybe some fried fish too and all the fixings that came with it corn on the cob, cole slaw, french fries, and mashed potatoes and gravy. old fashioned green beans with onion and bacon in it. macaroni salad and potato salad. fried squash and okra. And maybe several pies for dessert. Blueberry, apple and cherry and Peach Pie And peach cobbler and Apple, Blueberry, Cherry and peach cobbler maybe Jello too.

Mom and the family got busy in the kitchen as they all got started with all the prepping and cooking for tonight’s meal, The cleaned as they cooked so there was little or no cooking dished to fight with after dinner and no fighting over sticking pots that sat there and got dried up residue. The others set up the table for dinner placing the blue and white checked table cloth on the table as the others folded napkins and placed the silverware along with placing the plate medium saucers and cups for coffee and salad bowls for actual green salad. As Jasper began to stir as he was smelling all the food smells coming from inside the house. He let out a small yawn as he started to stretch from a seated position as he got up he stretched yet again. As he grabbed his Still cold sweet tea and took another sip and came into the house and took a seat at the table as the others finished bring in the food from the kitchen.

The people slowly slipped into there places around the table one by one. “They were all smiling and chattering to one another softly as they waited for mom and dad and the grandparents come in from the other room as they carried a cake commemorating their sons return home. “you guys shouldn’t have gone to all this trouble.” Jasper spoke up over the others as they fell quiet. At Jaspers moment in the spotlight. Jasper was almost in tears at this point.

“Thank you for all the support and love. I would not have made it through the Academy without all the well wishes and care packages. My Postmaster on Base was shocked at all the mail I got Apparently I made a record for most items coming into the unit. ” Jasper said with a small smile. Mom spoke up “that is what families are for my dear.” She said with a smile. As some music started for the dinner and an impromptu party at the same time. His mother knew he could be called back to duty anytime. So she was making the best of it. The family all laughed and smiled. As they all started taking their seats and started to get ready for grace and have dinner.

Jaspers father stood at the head of the table as everyone got quiet as he began to speak. “I know I can say for everyone here we are all proud of you my son.” His father said with a kind voice and heart. “please bow your heads.” there was a moment of silence before he spoke again ” Thank you god for this wonderful day and having our family here again with us to enjoy there love and fellowship. Thank you for this food we are about to receive. Keep all safe and healthy. In gods name amen.” moments later there was a round of amens. As his father took a seat and started passing around the food so others can fill their plates. By the time they were all done all had their plates full of food.

Jasper just sat there a good minute taking in everyone’s faces and the feeling of love. Before he started to dig in and eat the evening meal. By the time he was finished, he was pleasantly full. As he finished off his sweet tea. As his mom and the others started to clear the table. As they prepped for dessert and an evening of partying and music.
Jasper was ready to enjoy the night of fun and merriment. He thought about Casper and maybe he might enjoy the evening there with him. As he walked off to the study and let out a hard sigh before activating the computer. As the federation symbol showed yet again. And then he punched in the doctor’s private number. As he waited for the man to respond. As the symbol changed to Star Fleet Medical symbol and federation Symbol due to crossing networks from civilian to other channels.

Jasper waited patiently for an answer but then his answering machine picked up. Showing the officer in his neat uniform. “I am sorry to have missed your call I will call you back as soon as I can.” the machine said with a beep. “Hello, Casper? This is Jasper. I was wondering if you might want to go to a party? My parents were throwing?” Jasper felt funny leaving a message like this. “I guess you’re at work still. maybe some other time.” Jasper said feeling disappointed. “bye for now.” as he tapped the channel closed.

Jasper turned to leave as he heard the computer beep indicating an incoming call. Jasper sighed. then tapped a key as the screen light up again with a federation symbol and again as it flipped over to a person on screen. “Hello, Jasper! It’s me, Casper.” Jasper smiles softly. “I got your message. I will beam over shortly. And thanks for the invite see ya soon .” as Casper smiled at Jasper. as the screen went blank and closed. Moments later the room filled with light as Casper beamed in. And the light faded Casper was standing there in comfortable civilian attire. “Damn! you look amazing.” Jasper snapped and started to blush. “Well thank you!” as Casper gave the man a kiss on the cheek and made Jasper blush a bit more. “Shall we??” as Jasper pointed the way to the dining area to show off the cake and outside to the porch where some of the family was playing music now.

“Welcome Doctor! ” Jaspers mother said kindly with a smile. “Please help your self to some leftover dinner and were just getting started with the party.” his mother finished her thought. “Thank you, Ma’am!” Casper said with a kind smile. As he helped himself to a small plate of food. He had not eaten all day. He would start slow then go from there. “now Now Doctor do it right! Here is a bigger plate.” his mother took the small thing away as she gave him a bigger one. “Mom?” Jasper said with a bit of small disappointment but it faded he knew mom was just being mom. “Very well ma’am.Its ok Jasper. Your mom is right I do need to eat.” Casper said quickly. As he filled his plate Jasper grabbed a small plate so he can eat with Casper so that he did not feel out of place.

“That is kind of you to join me to eat. I know you already have eaten but thank you just the same.” Casper said kindly to him and took a seat at the small cafe style table for the two of them to sit and eat without feeling crowded. Jasper placed his plate down and took a seat and took a few small bites. After clearing his mouth. “Well, Doctor It’s nice to see you again.” Jasper said kindly to him not sure what to say. “Thank you! Now that it’s in a better situation and all now.” Casper said as he took a bite. “Your mom is a Damned great cook. If I am not careful I might gain some weight here.” Casper said as he could not help himself but clear his plate. “Mom is that a great cook.” Jasper commented between bites. “I know this was not the Chinese food you were wanting but I hope this is ok? But I know that it would have been more private.” Jasper commented quickly before drinking up some of his sweet tea.

Casper finished off his meal and drank down his Sweet tea. “There I feel much better now. I won’t be missing any more meal now.” Casper commented as he was going to take his stuff to the kitchen but Jasper took his plate and odd dishes to the kitchen. “I hope not.” Mom said quickly as she started to wash them up quickly. “Or I will be sending you meals too.” Mom said with a small laugh as she placed the now clean dishes in the drainer. “The postmaster will begin to hate me. Jasper can attest to the care boxes and stuff.”

“while your here Doctor you can check me over again? It will save me a trip to star fleet medical and We can do something more fun while I am in San Francisco before going back to duty.” Jasper said with a blushing face yet again. “I can do that this way I can close your file officially.” Casper said with a smile as he grabbed his tricorder out of his pocket. And casually started scanning him from head to toe. As Casper looked over the readings that the tricorder recorded. “Everything looks fine here. All looked great here Jasper.” Casper commented sincerely. “ThanksagainDoctor.Jasper said

“Now cut that out I maybe your doctor but call me Casper. As they moved to and down the dock to the boat. ” shall we.” Jasper asked giving the doctor a hand in the small boat after which he got in. “What a perfect night. Dinner, Music dessert and maybe dancing and a late evening rowboat ride on the pond.” Jasper said.

Jasper was going to say that this was a setup but this was all planned beforehand. so its just luck and fate that this evening has gone well so far. and was truly spontaneous. Casper was thinking the same thing but also kept quiet. “Your right this is a perfect evening Jasper with all the trimmings and its truly romantic. Thank you for this evening I will remember for a long time.” as they moved around the pond slowly. As he stopped Jasper and gave the man a long deep kiss on the lips as Jasper gave into the kiss and melted right there. Jasper felt like he was in a dream now after the kiss ended he was lost in the moment still and shock.

Casper was looking at Jasper for a long minute. “Are you alright? Jasper” Casper asked with beginning concern to form. As he grabbed his tricorder and started scanning. All scans showed normal other than a heightened state of euphoria and excitement from the kiss. All his reading showed heightened blood pressure and eyes dilated a bit. But all were in acceptable ranges. Jasper then finally spoke. “Yes ??? I am ok ???” Jasper spoke slowly as to savor the moment a moment longer. “I am fine Casper just savoring the moment. “Was I that good??” Casper asked with interest. “Yes....” Jasper said quickly as he moved the boat back to the dock and tied it off. Casper blushed strongly as the light began to fade to night time.

Jasper got out and helped Casper to the dock. It was Jaspers turn to kiss him as Casper was not expecting it. It knocked him for a loop. As Jasper release the lip lock this time Casper was lost in his own euphoria and excitement. “Ok…Now I know where you were coming from now. as Casper said his words slowly to Jasper. As he fought to get back to Normalcy. “Damn Jasper! I am afraid to see what happens next.” Casper said with interest. As they slowly disappeared into the back entrance to the barn as they climbed into the hayloft. And started making love. (the scene went to black.

Hours later the sun was rising over the farm. As the rooster crowed the night away. As the to love birds started stirring to life as Jasper woke up first and noticed Casper laying beside him still sleeping. Jasper gave him a peck on the cheek. “Morning starshine.” As Casper slowly woke up to see Jasper next to him. “Morning as he returned the kiss. As they both started to casually get dressed they could smell the familiar aroma of breakfast being made in the kitchen in the distance. “Might as well get to breakfast! Then I will go with you to San Francisco till the rest of my time is up on leave.” Jasper offered the idea to Casper. “Sounds like a plan I can take a few days off my superiors were wanting me to take some time off this is no better time than now.

They worked there way down the ladder and exited the front of the barn as they slowly moved towards the house. Jasper looked at the sky. “looks like another storm brewing”. Casper looked up. “your probably right.” he said with a small smile. “Thank for last night it was an amazing time and experience.” Casper commented. “No thank you, Casper, for deciding to come to my party. It would not have been an amazing time or experience without you.” Jasper commented sincerely to him. As they entered the front door they were still preparing for breakfast as Jasper went upstairs briefly and repacked a small bag. grabbing the gear he still had. then headed back downstairs and placed the gear in the study. Casper took the time while Jasper was gone to freshen up in the bathroom. The returned to see Jasper return to the dining room.

They took a seat at the table as they gathered their drinks as they other filtered in and took their seats to eat. they all looked like the cat that swallowed the canary. they were all smiles and some of the others gave a slight giggle. Jasper sighed hard. And gave in. “Yes, we did you guys happy. ” Jasper stated and Casper blushed. a bright red. As they all laughed and smiled as it all fell silent for a moment. “Now that is out of the way! We can now eat and no more gossiping.” Mom Demanded. As the others agreed to her request. then they went on with there business and let them be. “I am so sorry Casper! See what you all did!” Jasper said almost made. as Casper grabbed jaspers arm to stop him. It’s fine I am fine just surprised is all.”

Jasper and Casper ate quietly as the others talk and jabbered on like as nothing has happened. Jasper finally spoke again. “I am truly sorry Casper.” As he finished his meal. Feeling her lost him. “It’s fine…really. ” Casper said softly to him. As he finished his meal too. they finished off their drinks as they were done before most they took the dishes to the kitchen. Jasper quickly cleaned them and let them dry in the drainer while they headed off to the study.

The doctor opened his communicator. =/\=”Transporter control two to beam from our present location to Star Fleet Medical.”=/\= Jasper looked at Casper quickly. ” I need to turn in my report and get my leave set then we can see the sites of San Francisco. ” Jasper nodded ok. then waited for the beam to activate as he grabbed his bag. =/\= Transporter control stand by for beaming. =/\= “ready whenever you are chief.”=/\= Moments later Jasper felt the familiar process of the beaming moments later they were gone and now was in Star Fleet Medical Complex. “This is where you work??” Jasper asked softly to him. “yeap that’s the place.” Casper said softly back as they left the transporter pad and moved to the corridor to the complex.

Casper went in and took care of all the things he needed too. As he came back to Jasper “All is set I am off for the remainder of your leave.”Casper commented quickly with a smile as Jasper returned the smile. Well let’s go sightseeing them we can have a small lunch and dinner in China town. Casper said as he grabbed a Taxi as they got in “golden gate park.”Casper commented quickly. So they can see the sunrise. After seeing the sunrise they continued on a circuit to see all the sites of San Francisco. By the time lunchtime hit, they went to a little seaside cafe to eat then continued on their tour till dinner. As there final stop was in China town.

At Madame Chang’s Mandarin Cafe Casper always hearing the other raving over the restaurant. As the entered to enjoy their dinner in a wonderful atmosphere. While they ate Casper ordered a room at the Royal Crown Inn without Jaspers knowledge He had a friend from work call it in for him. As He got a penthouse there for a few days. It was a surprise for Jasper. “I hope this restaurant is ok with you? Jasper? ” Casper asked as they made their way into the restaurant. “Smells great Casper.” Jasper said calmly to him.

They spent the rest of there week uneventfully together They spent most of there time at the penthouse suite. Enjoying their time together as long as they could before there leaves were over. When it was time to say their goodbyes it was rather hard to do so. They had grown fond of one another over the week there. Jasper took the time to walk Casper back to work and gave him a kiss goodbye. As Casper returned the Kiss to Jasper. They really hated to go but they both knew they had their assigned jobs. The promised to keep in touch. by letter or correspondence. Jasper felt lost as he walked over to the transporting station near the Star fleet medical complex where Jasper came to San Francisco a week ago.

Jasper waited for his turn to be beamed back to his ship and him more than likely need to see the CMO there and maybe the captain too. Jasper sighed hard. “Beam when ready chief.” Jasper said calmly and sadly. as he was beamed away from San Francisco. And rematerilized back on the transporter pad on the Merrimack. “Home sweet home!” Jasper said softly as he left the transporter room and back to his cabin to unpack and then back to work as usual.
