“Sorry, I’m late! I overslept!” Guy reported. “Is this another new Security test designed by COS to evaluate our vulnerabilities? Or is this only for Sharp’s benefit?”

Sharp eventually found his voice ‘’ I was not expected that , she really took me by surprise ‘’ the security admitted then he remembered ‘’Guy what’s this type of weapon I’m holding for? ‘’.

Guy replied, “Is that a phaser, or were you just pleased to see her?”

Sharp thought it was a kind of different phaser from the one he was used too , the security was wondering about Guy’s question .Did he think he made Stella kiss him or else? .
‘’She just entered saying something on the lines to thank me on the last mission ....don’t know why’’ scratching his head he went on ‘’Do you think she likes me ?’’ Sharp asked in in optimistic manner .

“I think that’s something you need to ask her yourself,” Guy replied. “But I doubt she kisses men that she doesn’t like in the same way!”

‘’Really ?’’ Sharp asked ‘’Na..I think its her character ‘’ he waved his hand back and forth as if their were a couple of flies buzzing around ‘’Anyway I was checking that what we need for the next mission is in order ‘’ .
The security turned back arranging the weapons according to their type ,while whistling a long forgotten tune.

“Good idea! I’ve heard that we may see some action against the Shiarain!” Guy told Richard. “They sound pretty mean and ugly, and this preparation can only improve our chances!”

“Have you seen Clifford around?” Guy asked.

M’Mera entered the Security office then and saw they were all present. “Ah good, you arre all herre. We have rreceived ourr orrderrss forr the next misssion. I need you gentlemen to crreate ssecurrity teamss and run drrillss to prrevent boarrderrss at all the accesss pointss. Thesse teamss will need to be left at thosse accesss pointss once we nearr the rrift.” Glancing at her pad she added, “I alsso need one of you to head to the torrpedo bay and rrecalibrrate the torrpedoss for varriable yield and frrequency sso that they can be ussed nearr the rrift.” Looking at them she asked, “Any quesstionss? Can you handle all that while I am on the brridge?”

“I can recalibrate the torpedos for variable yields and frequencies so that they can be used near the rift,” Guy said. “We can then target unstable regions without risking the ship or the crew.”

Sharp was unaware that he had been holding his breath until Guy spoke ,he did not want to jump in like the last exercise that the COS had constructed.

M’Mera nodded before looking to Sharp. “Sharrp, arre you okay with starrting the boarrding drrillss and putting togetherr the teamss forr thosse?”
