Joe sat on a stool behind the bar with Pad doing an inventory and figuring out what he needed to get once the ship made a stop somewhere. Beside him on the bar was a small wooden packing crate. It had been a busy if crazy afternoon. Rumors had been running amok which always made business good. Joe like any good barman had listened intently to all news but in the end offered no opinion of his own. Finally, the crowds had cleared and D’Nesh had asked Joe if she could leave. She was quite excited. She said she wanted to go dance with someone.

So now Joe could be alone with his own thoughts. Some of those thoughts had to do more with people jumping across puddles and calling them lakes than anything else. That and Joe had to admit he was in need of a hug and some good conversation. He just smiled, looked over at the wooden packing crate. Shook his head and smiled wider.

Cross finally made it to the dragon bar weary and tired ,she took a stool and smiled ‘’Hi Joe how are you? ‘’ the bar was empty just the way Miriam wished it to be .
