Ensign Steward walked into the medical bay with two goals, get cleared for duty and meet his first ever department head upon graduation from the academy. The tall black haired human with a goatee walked in and asked a fellow Ensign for checking in.
Ens. Steward, Medical Officer

Kate the nursing officer was just passing by when she saw the new crew member ‘’Hello I’m Kate , shall I assume you’re here for your medical ? ‘’ she asked with a smile on her face while gesturing to an empty biobed ‘’ I’ll get doctor Cross ‘’ and with that she hurried off to the CMO’s office .

A few minutes passed before Cross made her way towards him , while Kate handed her the medical tricoder and attaching the diagnostic wand the CMO introduced herself ‘’I’m doctor Cross and you are? ‘’ she asked .

’’ Is there anything I should know before I start scanning ?’‘.

Once she finished Cross read the scan .

The Ensign is perfectly healthy as all the doctor’s equipment would show. “I am Ensign Steward, you’re new medical officer fresh from graduating the Academy.” He responded to the doctor. “I’m very excited to get started working with you.”

’’ Well Steward welcome to sickbay ! ‘’ Cross exclaimed taken by surprise ‘’ You couldn’t have came at a better time as one of our doctors has handed in his resignation ‘’ . The CMO read the scan ‘’ Cleared for duty doctor any questions ? ‘’ she asked.

Cross CMO.

“Not at the moment, but if I have any, I will ask.” The ensign stated, getting off the biobed. “I’ll just sit here at the entrance desk and wait for a patient.” He stated pointing at the desk at the entrance of sickbay.

’’ As you wish doctor but at some point you do have to make a app either with the Cmdr or the Captain,perhaps you can try and see them to-day ?’’ Cross asked ‘’ If you have any problems doctor Hunter and the nursing officer would be only to happy to help and my office is always open if you need anything ‘’.
