USS Merrimack
The Dragon Inn
Upon returning to the ship Stella had returned promptly and without hesitation to her cabin. Her stomach was in an uproar over a self-heating bag of field food which had been left behind from the Klingon days. It had been gray with the consistency of oatmeal and had little clumps in it that she had sworn she saw move several times. Needless to say, she hadn’t eaten very much. She was also dust and sweat covered, her hair was a mess, and she just knew that her makeup had disintegrated over the course of her travails. While she pondered going to see the captain her body was demanding other actions. So thus, it was that after a shower that was long enough to have showered off several elephants and of course a deep clean shampoo she was finally feeling a bit better.
She had then done her hair, put on her makeup and repainted her fingernails and toenails. Satisfied with her work she got herself a fresh tunic and a pair of slacks. She also ditched the uncomfortable boots she had been wearing for a set of more comfortable flats. After this she spritzed herself with some honeysuckle perfume. She then looked in the mirror and gave her reflection a thumbs up. After she had had a good meal of some sort, she would then try to get in to see the captain about her future, her madness or all of the above.
Just the small walk from her quarters to the Dragon did her good and increased her spirits. The lack of odd men glaring was one improvement. Of course, she had to admit that after whatever that was that she had been through on the planet was, a bit of good conversation with anyone would be nice. She had never been to the Dragon yet. Her first days on board were all spent running from one job to the other and then being assigned to the away team. So, when she walked in it was all a new thing to her. It seemed like a nice place even if it was quiet at the moment. She thought with a smile that she was off duty as far as she knew. A shot of real rum and a bowl of anything spicy would put some zing back into her. She walked across the place and nodded at the Orion girl she saw. A pretty little thing. She leaned up against the bar then patiently waiting for someone to come out.
