So, I found a job, have a steady schedule and income again, so now it’s time to get back on track and get things moving again in a positive direction…

So storyline wise, from what I gather, the away team has been separated, the ship is functioning again, but no longer near the planet the away team is on…

Yes, that’s a good summary. There aren’t that many posts to read. Your character was taken to Sickbay rather than standing on the Bridge unresponsive. You can give him some medical backstory for being absent and take over on the Bridge again.

There are two away teams - one on the surface with engineering and science supposedly finding out the reason the problem (who the ship has made contact with) - the other underground physically going to the source of the problem, who have just met some aggressive strangers in the tunnels (who the ship has not contacted, but the other party has tracked life-signs).
