Lt. Cmdr. Sanks walked through the ship, it was quieter than normal as most of the personnel were still on the station. He stepped into Sickbay, to do his check in before the ship departed from the station, and waited for a medical officer to assist him.

Sitting in her office with the usual door open Cross caught sight of him and from his uniform the CMO realized they now had a much needed new Cmdr . She was not about to let him wait and promptly made her way towards him addressing him first with a nod’‘Cmdr , I assume you are here for your medical,do please follow me ‘’.
Stopping at an empty biobed ‘’ I’m doctor Cross Sir, do lie down and make yourself comfortable ‘’ picking up the scanner and attaching the diagnostic wand she asked ‘’Cmdr is there anything I should know before I start scanning ?’’ .

“Pleasure to meet you Doctor Cross, I am Lt. Cmdr. Sanks.” He stated as he followed her to the biobed. “There is nothing I’m aware of, doctor.” He answered as he lied on the bed they arrived at. “I’m excited to begin this new chapter as the ship’s new Executive Officer.” He continued.
