We now have a new Merrimack ship channel in Discord folks! If you go to the Starbase…located just below Public, then you can join by clicking on the letter ‘C’. All channel rules still apply in our new channel as they do in Public. I will be the main officer moderating it so if there are questions for Dave I can certainly pass them on! But it will be wonderful to have a ship’s channel to discuss our mission or whatever else the crew would like to discuss in there! Looking forward to seeing you all there!

For those of us who don’t know how Discord works (or is that just me?) - I don’t see a new channel or a “C” to click. I only see a “USS Merrimack” thread inside announcements that I began last May. I thought the way it worked was that an invite was required and you follow the invite.

I’m away from home for a week from now, but when I’m back I’ve now put the Discord App onto my laptop, so maybe I can pick up messages there more easily than on my smartphone.

Sorry to those people like Rusty who sent me messages months ago and never got a reply. I was under the impression that I’d get some kind of notification of new messages on Discord. It is set up to do that, but hasn’t notified me.

Hmm ok I’ll try to be clearer. When you open Discord you will see a list of channels down along the left side menu. At the top is Public, Rules, Announcements, and Starbase. Click Starbase. There again is a list of channels that it says you can choose your roles. At the top of this are the departments, scroll past those and you will see a ship list. Before each ships name you will see a symbol, number, or letter. Find the ship you’re looking for and click that symbol, letter or number at bottom to join it. Eg. Merrimack has the letter ‘C’ before it. So scroll to bottom of ship list and find the letter ‘C’ to click. Then back out of Starbase and you should find the Merrimack listed in your left side menu:) If anyone is still confused DM me in Discord (WiseOwl) and I’ll talk you through it.
