With the rush in preparing for the mission and getting out to the Unity System, M’Mera’s reporting in to the CO had been delayed. She finally had her security team and assignments squared away so she made her way up from the bowels of the ship to Deck 1. It really was the bowels of the ship, all the way down on Deck 14. She liked it though, it felt like a den.

She twitched her whiskers in amusement at the thought as the turbolift doors whooshed open and deposited her on the bridge. She checked her uniform before exiting and made her way over to the Ready Room doors. She nodded to the officer of the watch before she hit the button to signal to the Captain that she was at his door. Her tail twitched back and forth in nervousness, she had seen the Captain around the ship and nodded to him but this would be her first actual conversation with him.
