No problem at all. You weren’t AWOL for very long and you post regularly anyway. I can see that you care.

I do understand “family”, health and childcare “emergencies”, and “work” deadlines, internet provider problems, and the totally unexpected otherwise known as “Life”!

What I can’t understand is people who are AWOL for weeks at a time, who cannot simply find a minute to come to post a LOA, so that we have some idea when they will return, and then we work around that. Sometimes I don’t know if they’ve resigned or just gone backpacking. As I’ve mentioned before, three members of this crew have been in the hospital emergency department in the last year, but even they weren’t long absent without an explanation, and yet some people will go AWOL while still posting on other ships.

DHs here only have to post only once a week. Other crew once every 10 days. Once every 10 days! 3 times every month! Is that really too much to expect? Put it on your calendars if necessary!
