Leaving the bridge Cross entered sickbay and headed straight to her office ,she was still pondering if what the captain was going to do would work, if the Merrimack could withstand going in deeper in the whirlpool .
She called all the medical personnel and told them to embrace themselves for a rough and turbulent ride , though for now to keep on working on whatever they where doing.

While everyone left her office Hunter who had become highly concerned asked Cross what was going on. She simply stated what the Captain was going to do ‘’ Is that safe?’’ Hunter asked concerned to which Cross replied ‘’He has a wealth of experience under his belt , it seemed his mind is made up on how to proceed to save the guy caught in the eye of the whirlpool and sickbay should be prepared for any causalities’’ the CMO replied.

The male doctor rubbed at his chin ‘’Shouldn’t the ship be on red alert ,most of our crew are going to be caught off guard ‘’ Cross nodded in agreement ‘’I agree but that again will be the Captain’s decision ‘’.

Hunter left her office and Cross was left alone with her challenging thoughts.

Cross CMO.

It was the vibration they first felt Cross got out of sickbay ,since the CMO had already warned them everyone stood silent waiting hoping the ship would hold. At one point the lights flickered but it resumed again.

The turbulence vibrations were felt the most ,the creaking and strained howling made everyone’s hair stand on edge and some began to panic but Cross kept her composure ,the last thing the medical personnel needed was seeing Cross freaking out, though she had every reason to do so for only she had been on the bridge and knew were the Merrimack was heading .

Some nurses started to panic but Hunter was on hand doing his best to calm them down even though he himself wondered if this would be his last day alive.
It was the male doctor who saw the young man materialize on one of the bio- bed and rushed to his side to aid him,a quick scan only showed that his blood saturation was low and all he needed was oxygen.It was the reason the man was incoherent not to mention spinning around the eye of the storm.
