**Holiday Posting Limits
For the holiday season, all COs have the authority to relax posting limits at their discretion. Normal limits will resume on January 5th. Happy and safe holidays everyone.

So, as CO, I didn’t say anywhere that I had relaxed the posting limits, nor did anyone ask me. I also cannot get any reply from Lucas Foxley or Matt Evans (our FComm and AFComm) by email about promoting AJ Paulson to XO. As they are both AWOL on their own ships, I don’t know how to move forward on that. Robert Archer has told me that as AJ is already at the member rank of Commander, I can promote his character to Commander without permission.

I’m very sorry that the ship is at a standstill again for those who do want to take part, but as you can see, it is beyond my control. I couldn’t even post at all yesterday while the update to Exodus was happening and while the Server had some problems with spammers.

The Sickbay and the Fantail Lounge are still open for business right now if you wish to post. There are open questions to be answered on the Bridge.

Can we ALL resume again on the 5th Jan? Anyone who doesn’t post by then, I will assume they are no longer interested.

Hey all I know I’m late in replying lately but between the holidays, work, and most of all my aging grandfather being sick and what not i have not had the time, desire, or ability to post. Please side sim until I can get back on my feet hopefully by monday.

I’m sorry that you took offence at that, but you have posted LOAs when you couldn’t post. You are neither currently, nor very often AWOL. I can’t ask you for more than that.

I apologise for using your thread so that it appeared I was directing all my ire at you alone, rather instead at those that won’t have even read this thread, those who don’t respond to my emails, and those in STF who think that the cure for AWOLs is to relax or change the rules so that there are no AWOLs.

All I’ll add is that, as Marthese pointed out to me, there are three members of this ship (that I know of) who have been admitted to a hospital Emergency Department this year, and they are the ones who most regularly post here.

To be clear Dave my reply wasnt from your post tbh i been so down of late from my grandfather and life etc that i didnt even notice your words till just today. You didnt make me feel bad or anything for that matter. I just made the post as i did on all my ships to explain my lack of posting and all that as GM or CO etc.
