For now the three scrolls were left on Cross’ desk, where either Hunter or Verity or perhaps both would gather the information which they had managed to find with the help of the UT. Once done the scrolls would be returned to the Elders.

With some time on his hands ,instead of leaving for his break the doctor thought he’ll start working on the scrolls.....gathering the information he had .It would be relatively easy, since back then Verity had been present and she found it much easier to translate and interpret what was written down.

Going through the scrolls revealed much of what had been already commented. In short it seems this native culture had taken their creation by Va as a deity, which as the crew had just discovered was just some super advanced alien AI station in another system which in turn served a race of highly advanced now energy based aliens. The station had created these natives on the planet as part of their experiment to find answers from their ascended creator’s orders. Where upon then over the centuries the station had done different events or things to manipulate the native populace in one form or another or even almost entirely wiped it out to start over.
