Having received the report at the Security Station on the Bridge, McDuff made his way down to the Main Shuttle-bay to make a brief inspection of the shuttle craft that had returned with parts missing. After a once over of the Shuttle, if needed, an investigation on the Planet was his next step.

Walking into the bay, McDuff approached one of the engineering personal who was in keeping an eye on things down there.
“Excuse me…” McDuff said politely. “Is this the shuttle that has just returned from the planet?” he gestured to a nearby stationary craft.

‘’Yes Sir it is ‘’ Richard replied ‘’ I believe the Captain had said that we retrieve what the inhabitants stole if they want their scrolls back ‘’.

“Ahh I see…” McDuff sounded deflated as this element of complexity was added to an already uneasy issue. “Please, could you show me the areas that the parts were removed from?” He asked. He wanted to see if there was any evidence of how the parts were removed, and what (if any) additional damage had be caused to the Shuttle.

OOC: so to tie up the loose end of the missing parts....

Looking through the shuttle where the parts were missing there did not seem to be any force to the removal of a few relays. It seemed more at first quite organized. As McDuff was finishing his examination there was a confused sounding voice from behind him, “..Uh sir?” Came an NE engineer’s voice. “..Uh something you need?” he asked, in his left hand was a maintence box with several relay chips in it, the same sort that were missing, and in the other hand an engineer’s tool kit. Maybe this NE just forgot to log the replacements when the shuttle got back?

McDuff looked to the wall communication panel as he listened to the announcement. Once it ended he turned back to the gentlemen in the room. “That’ll be me Gentlemen, excuse me. McDuff smiled, before turning on his heal and walking away.
