OOC: I expected you to take over from Joe in charge of the ship and on the Bridge, but you have continued on the planet from where you were as CSO. The whole timeline is completely shot because all the mid-Sim leavers and arrivals, so up to you what you wish to do going forward. I suggest you continue on the planet as you are now. We do need someone to conn the ship though, otherwise I’m left talking to myself there, which could obviously lead to insanity, and I’d rather avoid that. In which case, would you like to make a second character for the ship, such as ‘Navigator’, just to give me someone to talk to?

OOC: Yes, but I need time to come up with a character. Also since I already have a few to keep up with in the club we can add them to the ship but I’d prefer they stay untostered, so there is no posting limit.

Yes, that’s it exactly, I have a number of characters who are unrostered on 365 days posting limit, who I occasionally use as required. Sometimes they have been rostered like Cara Meow, but more usually not. Marthese has a few too. Bob had Stanley Wong. I will add you as a Merrimack Admin then you can see them all. You will also be able to rewrite your section of the MOTD - the part that follows under “Number One’s Gurgle”. (If you are unsure about that, send me what you want and I’ll change it for you.)
If you do change the MOTD then also change the “Last Updated Stardate xxxx by xxxx” part too.

One point though - Any characters on the Merrimack can’t be any you’ve already used elsewhere - unless time travel is involved - but they could be the ancestors of them if that helps speed up your character creation.
