Taking then the PADD with the information of the lessons and plan he nodded, “..Looks like everything is in order here then sir. Commandant Bradbury wants to meet with you specifically Captain at your convenience. Otherwise you and your staff will be called an hour before your expected presentations at their scheduled times. Any questions then?” he inquired.

Cross took the Padd from him’‘Excuse me just checking that the two ensigns who are to accompany me have their passes too’‘the doctor said assuming they were >Lest I’ll end up cracking my head against the wall< she thought to herself.

That was the second time that Captain Glen had been told that Commandant Bradbury wanted to see him. He must want to see him very badly. However, Glen was so curious about the sudden promotion of the Commandant that he probably wanted to see him just as much as he did him. That meant his visit to see Red Squad would need to wait. The rest of his crew were free to roam though, and apart from that mythical secret tunnel they could go anywhere they wanted. Except that, despite what Nkosenye said, the place had changed enough that they were going to need some kind of map.

“Just one,” replied Glen. “It’s been a while since we all graduated and the site has grown a little. Do you have some sort of guide so we don’t get lost in the labyrinth of classrooms, shops, accommodation, offices and libraries?”

Kord had spent some time at the academy about 40 years before. Unless there had been dramatic changes to the layout, Kord would remember much of the floor plan.

”..Of course!” he said handing each person a PADD with the layout of the academy on it.

“Would the Commandant be free at the moment,” Glen asked, searching his PADD for the Commandant’s Office. “There is no time like the present!”

”..Let me check Captain!” He said. Pressing a button on his desk he spoke =/\= Commandant Bradbury? Captain Glen is here wondering if he can meet with you now?=/\= He said.

After a pause the reply came, Bradbury sounded like a wise old grumpy sounding man with a gruff deep tone of voice =/\= Yes, Clerk send him my way please! =/\= He replied.

=/\= Aye sir..=/\= he added closing the channel, “..Seems Commandant Bradbury will see you now Captain, the rest of your crew is clear for R&R until their class times an hour before. Just head down the hall to your left, then follow it to the end is the Commandant’s office..” He said pointing the way.

“Great!” Glen replied to the clerk. “Thank you.”

“I will go and see Bradbury now,” John told his officers. “You are free to go wherever you want but don’t be late for your scheduled time. I’d like to hear all your lectures so I will meet you at the lecture theatre an hour before the first, or earlier if I can get away from Bradbury. I’d still like to fit in visiting the Red Squad Flight School too, if anyone wanted to join me. Go and have some old memories renewed, glory days relived and departments updated on your progress, and I’ll see you later.”

John Glen then left them to follow the directions he had been given down the hall to the left to find Bradbury’s office. He found the right door and knocked.

After waiting a few minutes he knocked again, much harder.

After a moment of pounding on the door there was the muted sound of a flushing toilet inside and a ‘coming coming!’ he said, “..Enter!” came a second later.
