Joe stood pretending to check the settings was now only several feet away from the little girl. In reality he was screwing up his courage. He would make no pretense. The little thing made him nervous. He then realized his mixed emotions and forced himself to calm down. If he tried to get closer now, she would certainly sense his unease He steadied himself and then walked to within a few paces of the girl and holding up the UT he spoke into it in a calm questioning voice. “Hello there. My name is Joe what is yours?”
