Pashi thought about what Doctor Cross had said as she made her way to the Chief Science Officer’s office, she needed to check in with Lieutenant Verity Aphelion, her new boss. After that, with the help of Lieutenant Aphelion hopefully, the Captain and XO.

Verity was in Biochemistry Lab on deck 10 doing routine auditing when the new science JO arrived. She immediately gave the Aenar/Andorian a smile as she said, “You must be....” she squinted at her pad.for a moment and hoped she didn’t butcher her new JO’s name, “P..Paaa..shi zeh…Va..hoh..leh..er?” She held out her hand then said, “I know I probably destroyed your name. Sorry about that. Feel free to inform me of the correct pronunciation.”

Pashi smiled and again took the offered hand and shook it. “You didn’t butcher it, you mangled it, but do not worry most do. You may call me Pashi. The zh sound designates my species sexual designation. Adorian’s have four separate sexes, two male oriented and two female oriented.
