The soreness and confusion of the sudden transport for Wolf and the others was probably the result of this all. The girl though seeing she couldnt get free of the XO by her own power resulted in then kicks with her legs and feet into his stomach and torso and using her tiny mouth to chomp down hard repeatedly on his one index finger near her mouth.

Verity bent over a flow of vomit came from her mouth. “Ugh..I wasn’t ready for that. I have to be ready or else I....” she held her stomach to hold in another round that wanted to spew from her mouth. “What happened. What…”, she observed the child that was fighting Joe and winning. She held out her hand toward them, scowled as she shook her head, “And where did she come from?”

“This devil outflanked us and took a liking to Cara’s tail!” Joe grunted as he struggled with the little piece of red headed hades. He then grunted out to the Lieutenant. “Lieutenant, get busy getting any data you gathered in some sort of presentable condition for the captain and get the medical data to Doctor Cross. And if the rest team show up make sure that they get to sickbay. You are to go also I want us all checked over after being in that place! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get her to sickbay!”

Joe then had Transporter Tom do a site-to site transport to sickbay.
