” Okay then.” Joe began as he clapped his hands. “If were all checked out here is everyone’s jobs. We’ll land at the base of a man-made hill. It’s the stuff from mines that the Klingon’s thought of as not valuable. It’s probably nothing but a large hill of loose stones. All we want to do is climb the hill and get a good look down into the village. Security you will be on our flanks one at each far side of the hill on lookout. The smart people like Lieutenant Aphelion accompanied by me, who is not so smart but will need to answer questions from the captain later will climb the middle of the hill to get a good look and do a few scans of the village below. Pretty easy.”

Joe stepped up onto the transprter pad and looking around asked, “Any questions? Last chance.”

Richard stepped on the transporter pad and simple replied ‘’Aye Cmdr ‘’. This was his first time going down with a team of the Merrimack ,the last one was when still a cadet and the last thing the security wanted was to mess up.

” Alright then.” Joe said looking around. “Everyone, remember the captains’ orders. Get in do our jobs and leave. No contact with natives at this time. ” Joe looked at the Transporter operator with a crestfallen face and asked him,” You sure you don’t want to bet on that team of yours?”

The transporter operator only laughed and shook his head no. “Well then let’s get on with it then. ” Joe replied. “He pointed to the still smiling transporter operator and said simply “Energize.”
