Tinga had decided she wanted everything official done with her check in before seeing her quarters. Walking into sickbay she tried to remember who the CMO was.

Cross put down the tricoder ‘’Lt, I guess you are aware of the allergies ? If so are you taking any medication or simply omit the culprits from your diet?’’ the doctor asked ‘’One last question ,how serious and/ or life threatening are the allergies?’’ .

Cross Dr.

Tinga giggled a bit at that.

“Yes, I am aware of the allergies. Shellfish gives me horrible indigestion so if I really want to indulge, I know there’s something I can take for it. Pineapple make my antennae tingle and gives me terrible hives, my throat nearly closed up once so, even thought there’s something I could probably take for that, it’s off my menu. Now coffee is a different story. I do indulge every once in a while at bed time because it puts me out like a light, no sedative required, just something for a slight headache in the morning.” she explained with a grin.

The doctor listened attentively ‘’Saying your throat nearly closed up is worrying ,you could go into anaphylactic shock which basically means your trachea swells up closing the airway ‘’Cross replied while thinking what a good nature character Tinga had ‘’I’m going to give you Epinephrine (adrenaline) to reduce your body’s allergic response when you get an attack,its important to keep one or two hyposrays with you at all times..understand?’‘.

The CMO looked at doctor marthese who went and brought a couple hyposprays filled with the said medication ,handing them over to the Lt.

Cross Dr.

Tinga nodded and tucked the hypos in a pocket.

“Probably a good idea in any case. You never know what you’re going to run across.” she said.

‘’Quite true’’ Cross commented,then turned to the ensign doctor ‘’Do please put down the medical evaluation in her file’’ at which point she pointed to the computer.
‘’Lt you are cleared for duty ‘’ the CMO gave the Andorin a smile ‘’If there are no questions you need to ask I shall not hold you a moment longer ‘’ knowing Tinga was new, she most probably had other important things to attend too ‘’Oh and welcome to the Merrimack’‘.
