Stanley stared in dismay. He was quite sure that he might never grow adjusted to travel in space now. Was this how this was supposed to look? He looked up and looked around the room once more before staring down at what was allegedly what he had ordered from the replicator. He had ordered four fried dumplings in a porcelain bowl with the dumplings sitting in a nice brown Chinese dumpling sauce. He had also unfortunately taken it for granted that the machine would supply chopsticks with the meal. He had been wrong on that count as well.

For here in front of him sat a thin plastic bowl with green things that resembled dumplings somewhat with a bit of thick brown gravy of some sort in the bottom along with a plastic spork to eat it with. He sniffed at it carefully for a moment before muttering out loud. ” Perhaps I should have ordered something from my mother’s side of the family?” He chuckled and shook his head reminding himself what an adventure he was having. He was quite sure that before he left the Merrimac, he would have quite the novel to write along with several articles on various medical and psychiatric issues in space.

‘’Terrible ain’t it’’ Hunter came from behind Dr Wong and without even asking through his plate on the same table opposite Stan. The usual impeccable doctor had disheveled hair and looked quiet run-down in appearance ‘’ Sorry Stan I’m not usually this way ‘’ the doctor looked at him with red shot blood eyes,the man was clearly tired .
Hunter picked up his fork and started digging at his Mac and Cheese ‘’So doctor have you settled in? Met anyone more interesting then me… yet ?’’ he asked between mouthfuls .
